Well looking at the rumors, AG I think has said there's no other ground involved,so maybe he has/is buying BV gonna get it up to SL standards, but still go for NM. Oh he is able to do all this with investment from a guest speaker, well we can all dream

I'll have a small wager the big news is we have bought our ground back with planning permission for a 2 tier stand to replace the east stand. 

Not quite, all the ground has to be covered for a stadium to be up to Super League standard so therefore we would have to put a roof over the Northern Terrace as well.

Would that be hard?

I don't think thats right, the last time i saw plans for Headingley there were no plans for a covered west stand, away end.

That can't be right. What about Salford, Bradford, Hull KR, Cas, Leeds, Crusaders they don't have cover all round their grounds. It would be nice to have a bit of cover at Belle Vue though!

That's the rumour I'd heard a few weeks ago that I'd posted on another thread , but it was temporary stands ( like harlequins) along the west terrace & the open end to be covered .

I didn't realise I was complaining about standing in the rain. A roof over the northern terrace would do wonders for the atmosphere come rain or shine!

I agree but I certainly read something about it all having to be covered. Maybe it was just the seating that had to be covered.

yeah i stand there every week, frankly its usually packed with away fans!! so not sure of the atmos benefits!

and yes you were complaining about the rain and in your pre mod days you would have admitted it!

Cant really see a long term future at belle vue. It would take too long and not get the proper results.. Would probably have to buy Super_Bowl site for car parking & expansion.
