Be good signing for Doncaster but I'd be disappointed if this was the case.

From what I've seen of Liam Kay thus far the lad should be playing Super League. Whether he's at Wakefield is another matter, but he is definitely good enough to warrant a starting spot in SL.

I wouldn't be objective to Kaye starting for Wakey next year.

He seems to have something about him. Not quite a SL player yet but looks like the most likely to progress to me out of all our young players at the club.

Probably not even that. I think an offer around the 20 mark would be considered as a starting point.

Without wishing to go OTT, and only having seen the highlights of the game, he does look like he's got a bit about him.

With a concerted effort, this is the sort of money the fans could raise.

Don't know what Liam is on now but to top up his contract to 20k would make sense. With a possible upgrade at the end of next year.

Fair enough, mate. Maybe contributions to the ST may help then, if they're allowed to buy in. Just seems to me on the very limited amount of evidence I have that Liam may be one of the players we need in our reduced budget spend. And you never know - pick a few good young'uns with some experienced guys to lead them round the park, and you may get a lot more than you bargained for.

he has already made a name for himself at Donny, even Agar said so himself when he recalled him at the back end of the season, A host of championship clubs were after him, Halifax, Fev, Batley, Leigh to name a few and if we at Donny have won the race for him then I am delighted, it would be an early Xmas present for all of us DONS fans as in the past we have had quality players and then the bigger clubs have snapped them up. Ben Cockayne is a perfect example of that when HKR signed him after we had plucked him out of the Amateur ranks

with no disrespect to Donny he's more likely to get his name branded around like he did this weekend than playing in the championships, its not going to long before new clubs will get a chance through the P&R so if he has moved on then I hope you can retain him and get a good value for him if another club comes along.
