I remember there being trouble in the play off semi final in 98 against KR when Franny Stephenson was a little enthuisiastic in his celebrations.

We all have different memories, I thought it was Bostock who went to celebrate to the wrong set of fans - it happens, it's part of life - I just love the way fans rarely rebuke their own naughty fans but are very quick to be outraged the other way around.

He was gesticulating to the away end when we played at theirs earlier in the season - summat and nowt, over in a flash and I definitely didn't chuck anything at him or take to Twitter to question his parentage or accuse him of being a self-lover.

I thought Charlie was awesome against Hull yet again. Top signing. I like our two wingers...when they have the ball. Against taller opposition they will struggle (not their fault) but in attack they are lively, quick and their effort is fantastic.

We all have fans like this. We should be working hard to get rid of them but you can't say we are innocent and the rest are terrible.
or in this case that Hull is so terrible.
I've been to Hull v Hull KR games and never felt threatened. Equally I've seen trouble in Hull and elsewhere.

And as said above, I've seen players do things on the field that wound me up, but never felt the need to throw anything or attack anyone. It's just a game for goodness sake. In exactly the same way as the players give it to each other and then shake hands and move on, so should the supporters.

That's exactly the point of the discussion - a few Hull FC fans behaved like morons and they're being rightly criticised. Wellsy made a futile attempt to suggest that it was Ben Cockayne's fault, which it clearly wasn't.

I don't think anyone's suggesting that we don't have idiot fans - we clearly do - but to suggest that a player who's been abused for 80 minutes and celebrates a win is responsible for fans chucking bottles and fighting to get to him on the pitch, is out and out stupidity and deserves to be outed.

That may well have been the same bloke who kicked me in the chest as he scaled the wall to 'defend' our players from the KR fans!

He might well have done but Stephenson certainly ran past most of the north stand celebrating Cockayne style!

A friend of mine(Fc fan)has been spat on a couple of times by St's fans,but it doesn't make all St's fans animals


Like I said previously, ALL clubs have a minority of idiots, including your club.
You only have to go back to the recent Wakey V Cas game as an example of that,
Luckily for you genuine RL fans like myself won't class you all as animals and realise that it's just a minority who spoil it for the rest.

I used to be an Animal that spat at rival supporters but since Ben left our club I am now cured of this, as well as my athletes foot, bad breath and leprosy. He's got alot to answer for that lad.
