That was a shocking performance by Bentham - it's about time 'on report' was removed from the game; every incident is viewed by the disciplinary panel anyway, so all on report does is allow the ref to bottle it and potentially means that the team the offender plays next week gets an advantage, whilst the team who have been offended against get nothing more than a penalty. It's a joke.

And Mr Lee should have walked, without question.

Bridge and Briers and Brown were all lucky to remain on the pitch IMO

isnt there usually a 4th official at super league games?. if so the ref could use the" on report "so that things can be checked on whilst the game is still being played, if it is a red card , then it can be issued as soon as the next stoppage in play

On another note this ball strip rule does my head in Westwood lost the ball end off these days you only have to touch the ball the carrier drops it in a lot of cases to con the ref into giving a pen the ball carrier should be responsible for ball security
Another one is the play the ball 75% of players don’t the ref then gives a random penalty for not playing the ball correctly when no ones played it right the whole game

He played ok in the early stages of the season, but like the rest of the squad he became burnt out and or disinterested.

and in the mean time the said person scores a try, what would you do then strike that score off
somehow I just can't see that working it needs a snap decision and that can be made just as quick while the player is being rep-remanded by the ref

it was clear that Lee swung the arm across than a stiff arm in a change of direction (10 mins in the bin) he should of walked for me
