well this week been a bummer for us, our beloved pooch has been diagnosed with a aggravated prostate in which he has to have his gonads removed,


this was made worse by me canceling his insurance because of the big increase in premiums

so got to foot the big bill,

so to get value for money, I'll get his gonads stitched on to some string so we can present them to the player that has a crap game

and yes the look on his face when I told him

You're not the only one. My cat had to be put down last November, seriously.







He had developed a sudden tumour in the rear legs and while we could have forked out £500 or so to keep the poor sole alive, it have meant that he would have been housebound for the rest of its life and as an out-going cat, that's something my cat would have absolutely hated.

Just seeing how bad "friends" and family are with cats I can never understand why so many people are hostile to them

British shorthairs are renowned for being peaceful towards other animals for example. Most dogs on the other hand would kill all small to medium wildlife if they were quick and agile enough to catch it!

Its by an Ossett lad who loves his city, as TRB says we will be mental not to adopt it!

Hes not a massive Trinity fan but does follow us and likes to see us do well.

Sky sports have already used it in the closing credits after the Man U / Man City derby a few weeks ago.
Its out on 31st May and is getting exposure already on Radio 1 so it looks like its going to be big!

There's actually a few nice walks around the outskirts of Horbury and Ossett but only about 5 people in the area that appreciate them. I can remember walking along the canal from Horbury Bridge and some of my 'old' mates were throwing stones at some swans. T*ssers.

Make that 7 then, i often wander around this area with my better half.

Aye, that's where I walk my dog; the nicest route is from our place at the top of Storrs Hill, down the fields towards Healey Road then stopping off at the taproom of the Brewers Pride; he's only a pup like, so he needs a rest

might not be improving for the team, but it it has for my pooch he gets to keep his knackers,
after treatment he has improved enough to put off the old snip for the time being, had to laugh at his advances tonight to a young doberman

There's a bit of wasteland down Addingford way, it's next to the railway lines and used to be a paint-balling location for a time. There was an urban myth surrounding the area involving an opening that leads underground. Rumour has it that some individuals went down there with hunting dogs on a night. I don't really know more about what went on but a few people I know said they knew a lad from Water Lane who went ratting. I've looked at the hole with a few mates years ago but I never dared venture into it.
