Indeed we are indebted to Jack and are grateful for it just like other clubs who rely on benefactors. Moran, Lennaghan, Caddick, Kouca$h, Davey and Sir Jack - all keeping SL in business.

Agreed - I would much prefer not to have to rely on benefactors but, unfortunately it seems the way in most professional sports these days. What is worrying is when/if they decide to walk away or talk their way into a club and cannot provide the funds promised ala Featherstone.

Or when they shuffle off this mortal coil, and the kids decide that they'd rather keep more of the family fortune for themselves than slash it up against the wall on a RL club; pertinent I would have thought, in at least two of the examples on that list.
