I'd rather they built a white elephant then get away with not building it at all. Clearly they are hoping the club refuse the terms then they can say they tried thier best but it was out of their hands.

Agree to unacceptable terms and let me tell you the are well and truly unacceptable and the Club dies a lingering death or refuse to accept them and they have won and the Club dies.

No one has any intention of building any stadium. It's all a charade to avoid building it and then guess who gets the blame.

It's obvious this is what the trust were %99 sure what was going to happen. So they should be prepared to let is all know the details and see for ourselves.

SC what I don't understand is why isn't all this being aired in the local press ? If it was a public body they would be crucified in the press but it seems private enterprise are excused from public exposure.

I cannot speak for the Club but I do not believe there is any chance whatsover they would sign up to the totally unacceptable terms that have been put forward. They would be certified and sectioned if they did.

The Local paper is a waste of space.

We have tried at all times to be reasonable and make compromises but I think the time for reasonableness is long gone.

Reading SC and DC posts they both appear to be alot angrier/attempting to hide it less which suggests they have seen the proposals and know it would actual reduce the clubs income from what it is now.

It really appears to be a grubby dirty deal by RW and YC, facilitated by PB. Why would MC or others continue to knock their pan in for free while somebody else sat in an office miles away profits on it?

Why are the Council letting Yorkcourt dictate this whole thing on their terms...do we know whether Box could profit in someway by it not getting built? If not, then why wouldn't he/the council put their foot down?

Assuming he doesn't benefit financially from the deal, and yeah, I know its dangerous to assume anything, he gets the green to brown on the back of a new stadium promise.
Now either he doesn't want to look like a chump in public after being swindled out of the public property he's been charged with the care of, or he does benefit financially, in either case, he isn't going to want to be put under any scrutiny.
You'd think he'd be doing a bit of his own dictating to make this thing happen as promised and avoid attention, unless of course the other 2 members of the bermuda triangle have too much 5h1t on him.

I'm gonna go with that last line till proven false, it seems like the whole thing is on a cliff edge and the triangle is doing the only thing it can do, front it out.
