Why do people offer half a tale on a forum?

Why not tell everyone if there is some news and if there isn't any or your not at liberty to say then why say anything at all?

I could start a thread and state "some big changes in the bid race, fascinating stuff but someones having their face put out" but what's the point in that other than "I know something you don't"?

Do you know whether anyone else is to be involved? As I said before would be a shame if Andrew Glovers enthusiasm for the club can not be harnessed in some way.

All I was told was that Steve Parkin had stepped forward but I will dig deeper and see what I can find out.

As I have said before this is far from new.

More established posters have know this to be the case for a good number of months, like I have previously said the notion of a pre-pack was put forward a good few months ago- only to be thrown out in principle by our former BoD.

With the best of intentions Ted and Co thought that us going into administration (no matter how good the pre-pack) would mean the end of SL in Wakefield. So the idea never got off the ground.
To the best of their knowledge at the time Ted and Co saw themselves doing the right thing, rather than the bleeding image so would rather. It's very easy for us to be judgemental with the benefit of hindsight- it's a beautiful thing.
They saw the club as still having other options to explore before the final resort administration was seen as.

To even the most critical of fan I put this question to you " 2 months ago if I were to have asked you if us and Crusaders go into administration at EXACTLY the same time will we be treated equally or dealt a more harsh punishment?"- Ted and co (like many I suspect) thought we would come off worse, with this being the final blow so to speak. I believe they acted with the best of intentions and with passion and commitment to the end. Far from being the Saddam figure some paint him to be- lurking in the shadows, maintaining control through a "puppet regime".

So it's hardly surprising that a pre-pack has been put together before publicly taking the formal steps of administration- it's common practice.

End product: The man who wanted us all along (the richest chairman in SL elect) Mr Steve Parkin got us in the end.

Irrespective of how things could've gone, and I have no more ability in predicting the future than Ted, he's giving the club away for nowt now and he would've been giving the cub away for nowt two months since.
His only intention in my view, in hanging on, was to try and con the supporters of Wakefield into bailing out his kids trust fund.

I'm just stating facts. Nothing that can be linked (as some only credit words that have been printed online- because we all know how credible the internet is!!) But are well known facts to those on the "inner circles".

Fact 1: Mr Parkin did offer a pre-pack in November- which was refused.

Fact 2: Mr Parkin told WT in Dec he was only interested "if it involved administration"

Fact 3: WT went into administration in Jan when it was clear no investor would come forward and pay looming debts if administration wasn't an option.

Any more "credible" posters want to disagree with any of my "facts" or can we take it I'm not having anyone on here.

Is this Mr Parkin related to the late, great Trinty legend Jonty Parkin? That's what I heard but it may have been wishful thinking.

If true, and lets face it here, you're as credible as most of us hiding behind usernames to protect our 'real' identities, what of the other parties who have come out as interested? Publicity stunts?
