The away supoort against Hull was the worst ive ever seen - we took about 100 fans ... PPL are protesting with there feet now and the crowds have been worrying but the type of footie were playing at the mo is certainly not helping...

there are some good players here in Aus who would do a good job for the club in the short term...

I worry about the Charlie Leano rumour... looks VERY ordinary in the australian game even in the second tier, but Superleague is much slower so he might do ok!

Further details of the services on offer at the new Community Stadium were announced today in a press conference held in the lecture theatre at Wakefield College’s Thornes Park Campus by the Wakefield & District Community Trust.

The Trust revealed that in addition to the stadium, a proposed two storey Educational and Elite Performance Centre together with indoor and outdoor training amenities are set to be situated at the site. A four court sports hall, a fitness gym, a medical treatment room, several class rooms, a restaurant and a massage suite are all proposed to be incorporated into the Centre.

Adjacent to the Centre will be an indoor training building which will house a full size pitch suitable for Rugby and Football. This structure will also feature three seven-a-side football pitches and a four lane 100m running track. Such a facility will prove to be invaluable in the winter months when many sports clubs suffered major disruptions due to the extreme weather conditions the country experienced earlier this year.

It is anticipated that this facility will be used by collages, local sports clubs and the health service, truly making this development one for the community.

Good news, its more than just a Community Stadium now it becoming a Sports Complex which hopefully will assist with the planning permission.

I stand by the club in every single facet - whether they got it right or wrong. I'm not ashamed of that and that doesn't mean that they've got it all right or that I agree with all that they've done. I do know that every decision taken is taken for the right reasons - and that is why we still have a club, are still in SL, are still in the race for the play-offs and have a very bright future ahead of us.

I didn't respond to KC's comments, but if I were to it would be to suggest that all the negative stuff aimed at the club, without full knowledge of all the details (a kind of blind un-faith if you like) is what is particularly boring - that or the sniping at my best efforts to balance the scales up a little. Hey-ho!
