Clearly you have a problem with me, but that's ok, the Trust will be a fully democratic group - i.e. if you want a change, vote for it.

The Trust, of which I am part of the working party, is working hard to ensure that there is some continuity as a club. We are not supporting, and have not supported, the calls for investment into the club at this time. We ALL want change, and some of us are working hard to achieve that, whilst still having a club going forward.

Who are these other 'usual suspects' you refer to - or did you just mean me? If so, then I am sorry that you cannot see through what is happening and what the reality truly is.

ALL the information that we have available is in the public domain - no secrets.

Give us a break! There hasn't been time to review anything yet, and it will take a few weeks to complete all the technical stuff.

Once the Trust is formed - and we will let you know when it is - then there will be an AGM and there will be nominations and voting to take place.

In the meantime, there are already around 14 people in the working party and hopefully a few more to join, once all the offers of help have been reviewed.

I absolutely do not have a problem with you. I apologise unreservedly if I have made things appear too personal. FWIW I am deeply respectful of public spirited supporters like your good self. I simply think that the current club regime have lied to you and attempted to take advantage of your good nature. That's very stupid of them, considering this club appears to run on a massive amount of supporters goodwill.

Its not, it just that some care enough to actually make an effort to make these things happen, i'm sure they would all happily step down (in fact i'm postive) when its formed an running, then those with an interest and the skills needed can take the trust forward.

The whole idea is to vote members on or off depending on the votes of ALL members but in the meantime someones got to do the donkey work and those people are working hard in their own time for the good of all.

In the meantime feel free to log in and criticise while others make the effort for you.

have the club issued a statement to that effect or sent copies of the accounts out to shareholders with a covering letter explaining that . How do we know from guesses on here

and I hopeyou give the Trust a chance and I am offended by the comment above,having run the Junior supporters for ten years, raised thousands through squadbuilder, been on Dave March, Adam Watene and JD testimonials none for the recognition of the BOD and to get in on the inside gossip .Did it for the cause and because I was asked not for self importance.
Of course the Trust will have elections so it will be for the members to choose who they wish to take it forward.

to be fair none of this will get us anywhere, there is a feeling that some of the ones closer to the club have been a tad naive in what they have believed, i share that view but will not critisise TRB, you, or any member of the sqaudbuilder gang, some of us, me included, may want to get involved in our own way, or use proffesional skills to help us go forward but in many ways, and i accept its a hard pills to swallow, what went before means nothing, and didnt work!!!!!

I'm involved with the Working Party to establish the Trust indeed I Chaired last Tuesday's meeting. Many people know me and I do not hide behind a name. I'm a fan of many years and I've been a sponsor for many years so I don't know whether that makes me a usual suspect or not. If people feel that I am then I'll happily stand aside and let someone else do the hard work to set it up.

A few of us started to look into a Trust months back before the recent news broke because we were concerned about the lack of communication between the Board and the Supporters of the Club and felt that a Trust should push for share ownership and Board representation so the fans views would be heard.

We are working hard to set up the Trust and once established a Board/Committee will be elected by the members of the Trust by democratic elections. It will be Open and Honest and fully inclusiive, it will be the fans Trust. 200 people last Tuesday seemed to be happy with what we are doing but maybe they have changed thier mind.

no ones having a go SC, but I think like any organisation in your position ie set up under crisis effectively, you are going to have to be seen to be clean of all previous ties to whats going on now, which I know you personally are, others may have to realise a few years away from the top table influencing from a quiet corner is better, for now.

Maybe I'm getting a little sensitive but we believe in what we are doing and for the right reasons and we are working hard and giving up many hours that could be spent on our own activities and businesses. I appreciate that people have views but we have to tread carefully in these difficult times.

The land, the loan, the deal all happened in The UK and will have to be persued by the UK courts. Just because the Bank of Ireland are invloved it has nothing to do with Ireland. They have offices and banks over here and these will operate within UK civil and criminal law.

i have been asked by a few fans to put up for the commitee, got asked a few times the other night at meeting. this situation can never be allowed to happen again. if people want me to nearer the time i will put up for election. i suppose a mixture of different people and viewscould be a good thing.

I have some sympathy with that, but it doesn't stop the work that is required to be done and, as someone who has stood up to do this, I feel that a little bit of respect for the hard work wouldn't go a miss.

We do what we do because we think it best for the club. There is nothing I have done to be ashamed of, and the work towards NM etc must continue. The Trust is integral to ensuring that we have a club to take to NM and that we retain as many 'friends in high places' as we can.

I have no doubt that our actions will eventually win through and I would plead with all, sceptics included, to at least allow us the chance to do this - together, as one, even allowing for the varied opinions that we have. True democracy must allow for all to be heard but for the majority to hold sway!
