The club asked for fans to contribute then and those that wanted to - did so.
They were communicated with throughout the process and since.
There is obviously no update re the takeover and I don't want speculation - I am willing to wait for the club and the potential new buyer to come out and say yes or no when their time is right.
Some of here have no clue about a takeover with all the rigmarole that goes on and needs to be done right up to the signing and handover.

No, just hang on there, these people were "in the know". Or knew someone who knew someone, or knew all about complex financial negotiations, involving tax and company laws, and they kept us all in the loop, forcing those at the top to abandon their shenanigans. Yeah, there's no fooling them.

The communication levels have been crap for a while. E.G. listening to Mark Applegarth interviews made me look for the number of Dignitas.
This statement could have been issued earlier if it was already in hand as stated. So just on the press release that PT says wasn't necessary and wasn't catalysed by anyone lying about the rent for the East Stand, if you think that information has been thin on the ground up to date, well it will be non existent for the next 4 weeks as they do some serious DD. There will be information and financial embargoes galore - unless expressly agreed by The Board / Ellis Consortium.

So that's 4 more weeks worth of arguments on here then. At least.

According to the examiner it’s in the closing stages of the deal , and all this hear say and nonsense about carter and Minards holding things up with demands is rubbish and heads of terms have been agreed ( whatever that means )

Heads of terms is effectively a requirements document from both sides.

Like they've both said what they want and what the require from other party, then the due diligence kinda proves whether each can back up what they say they can do.

It's an agreement in principle, if nothing crops up in the due diligence period to affect the deal then it will go through as agreed.
