After hearing the same rumour myself I watched him in the Sudds/Cru game. From what I saw we already have better players at the club in our reserves.

Not read the full thread but BBC's George Riley has linked now-released Liam Higgins to Wakefield. Not heard that one before.

Decent prop is higgins, does nowt flash but does exactly what a prop should do drive the ball in and tackle hard. Would have liked to keep him as a sqaud player.

I wouldnt be too happy, But i have been told the deal we are negotiating is very much dependant on how many games we get out of him. He is a professionaly, Offers more size and agression than higgins and if he can stay fit. Will play a part, Although i am more pleased by the Jake Emmitt signing from Saints.

As for Higgins, He has shown a bit more agression this year, And one thing for sure, Is he is very cheap. So no surprise you have moved for him

I think i posted a couple of weeks ago you were getting Higgins and i thought Wainright was on his way there too but i think you managed to land Penny instead. Anyway none of you wanted Higgins when i posted before, have you changed your minds?, afterall any signing has to be a good one for you at the moment in these worrying times for your club.

I would be happy with Higgins he is a solid player and will put the hard graft in.

Unless one of our current props leave he will be the 5th prop and if and when he is called upon he will do a good job if it is true that he has signed.

Things arent Rosey, but the new sponsor is there to put massive money into the stadium, They have already put naming rights money in for 1 stand, And they are a massive firm, So if needed, We could tap them up for more money.

Also 2 new signings today, With more to come.

Would be dissapointed if we do sign him, We already have George and Morton and it looks like we have signed Kevin Penny so i don't think we need him, add that to the fact that he doesn't look like a very good player.

Does not matter who we stick on the wing really, our game plan does not require the use of them.

That, my friend, is the understatement of the week; he's awful, dreadful, hopeless - a strong contender for the worst winger in SL. And given our style of play, he could look even worse for us than he did for the Dulls.

This rumour does have an air of inevitability about it now, since Blanch's departure; Sheriffe is certainly Wakefield fodder, in that no other club will have touched him with a barge pole.
