NGB4CAS, do you have a wife and kids? if you do i am sure you would value the quality time you spend with them away from your £40k a year job, earning that salary will obviously mean a lot of committed hours! When your with your family and all is not well, they are unhappy for whatever reason, would that not pull on your heartstrings a little and affect your ability to do your job?

Give the guy a break, he came, it didnt work out, its in everyones best inteerests to cut loose and move forward!

I thought that picture was hillarious I laughed my self to sleep last nite and thought about Shane Tronc. Obviously no sense of humour on here, which is no suprise what a set of depressing wakefied people. Monte Carlo is great this time a year maybe you people should try it sometime, it would lighten you guys up.

I guess, as always, we will never know the full truth just the rumours from both sides. What is obvious is that Tronc might as well have gone a few weeks ago.

Not really he wasn't here long enough. However the fact that he is still remembered for doing a 'Tronc' suggests that he didn't come out of it well but I'm sure he doesn't care.

Just a thought, working on the assumption you have been before as your post would have us believe, maybe you might like to go to monte Carlo again, it should not be much of a problem with your salary, but I bet there would be quite a few that would have a whip round for you, that is a financial one. Seeing how NGB4C fell asleep thinking about Tronc I doubt he is thinking about whether he would fit into his suitcase.

trinfan71 - you are clearly not a driven individual in your chosen profession. Tronc is a highly paid professional sportsman' sometimes you have to do things you dont desperately want to do. People often have to sacrifice say 6 months worth of their personal life to succeed in their chosen profession. He should have played for the rest of the season, end of story.

I think the difference is that Clinton O'Brian wasn't all that and most people would agree that until recently Tronc was. That's the hard thing to swallow. We are loosing a very good prop (very difficult to replace).
