I have no problem with the hit. It's part and parcel of the game and it's gutting because if the injury is serious than that's another player out. But whilst i don't condone the tactic's believed to be employed by KR they are within the rules.

don't give a damn what you say about legal and not legal. if mongrel goes on to the field to purposely lame another player, then he doesn't deserve to be on the field. its quite obvious what the game plan was, but what usually goes round comes round.

It's the legal version of "the biff", a perfectly timed, well-executed ploy to take out the playmaker.

It worked.

A real bummer for us, but we have to get on with it and, as you say, let other players show what they can do.

I don't mind the tactic (as long as it's legal) - we've all enjoyed it when the boot has been on the other foot. I'm just surprised that some people think the modern game isn't hard enough.

It is a shame such a talented bloke has been injured but there was nothing wrong with it, it was a classic bit of proper RL biff.

He looked to be holding his upper arm/shoulder so hope it's not a break or sprung shoulder.

Just seen Fozzard up at the gym......im suprised he can put anyone on their . Murrell I can believe, his technique is great and his distribution of power in the tackle is top.

I have always rated Brad Drew, he never knows when he is beaten & every time I've watched him he looks as though he gives the full 100%.

Hope the injury is not too bad & he's back playing for you soon.
