| Vasty is quite capable of defending himself so I am not jumping to his aid but he is right on this one.
The number of admins and the companies that have gone under or not been paid by our hands is grossly exaggerated for effect on there.
I would like to know the real numbers but that's not public knowledge as far as I know. Glover said he cleared a lot but we now don't know how much of that is true.

| Going back to KinleyCat's post on the first page.
Wasn't Agent XIII praising how well Bradford were handling their supposed financial worries, no negativity, everything is fine.
If it was up to your man, what is happening to the Bulls, would be happening to us right now also.
MC grasped the nettle, made some very tough and at the time, unpopular decisions early doors but this has proved to be the difference between being able to assemble a side with time on your side, or being left a little in the lurch like the Bulls.
Bradford maybe hard pushed to get the true value or a decent price for any of the players they are possibly looking to sell, by delaying their financial position.

| I do have the utmost sympathy for the fans, but if OK wants his money back and it weakens the Bulls, then tough, we've been through it, my main concern is watching a financially viable Trinity playing in SL. Simple.

If he does, he does. Cross that bridge when it comes. Same as with any other club with a benefactor. Sure he must have plans that are wider than Salford, or why get involved.

| I feel sorry for Bradford fans - their recent history is very similar to ours - but if they have to sell or release players to match their new budget, so be it; that's no different to what we've had to do, and it will make the bottom half of the table more competitive in what is a crucial season results-wise.
As for the vulture comments - I really don't see it that way; there was no outpouring of sympathy when we sold a slew of players and we did well out of that - hopefully Bradford can do the same.

| As many have muted, their in a worse position then us. They're trying to shred players and wages when most teams budget has already been spent. I can't imagine there will be much interest in their players which will prove problematic.

| When I heard of Bradford been in a financial mess again, I thought that's good for us in our relegation battle next season. Selfish but true, non if this I feel sorry for the bulls fans rubbish, at least they've seen success with their club most of us Trin fans haven't.

| Had a few slurps tonight.
I can understand a club like Trin being in financial turmoil as we have not been successful.
But for a club like Bradford to be in the position they are in with the success they have had and the transfer for Fielding, it's hard to understand.

Its all simple mathematics.
If your expenditure is greater than your income and you can not service the accumulative debt, then something will break and it seems that like us, The Bulls have been guilty of over spending.
They are probably in a far worse position than we were as they have a much larger hole to fill.
All of their success came on the back of very healthy attendances and at a time when all of their razzamatazz attracted good numbers of casual fans, allowing them to invest in top players.
With their support base now falling, it will be incredibly difficult for them to compete with the big boys and they will need to cut their cloth accordingly.

I may have had a few last evening, but I could still grasp the simple mathematics of the situation.
My point was, that a club like Wake that has stumbled from one crisis to another over the years, so it's easier to see how we get into our situation.
Bradford on the other hand have been in loads of Grand Finals and Challenge Cup Finals over the last 13 years.
Maybe the signing of Iestyn Harris was the beginning of the end for the Bulls, as the rumour was that they broke the bank to sign him so he wouldn't go back to Leeds.
When other players find out, your wage structure goes out the window.

| The initial cuts are expected to be outside the 1st team squad but the players have been told that the club won't stand in their way if they can't face another potential season of worry. They did however say that any player who leaves will be replaced albeit perhaps with a cheaper alternative. Whether that'll change as the season progresses who knows. The initial outlook is perhaps 1/2 players to go. Have to to feel a huge amount of sympathy to the staff who are being made redundant, particularly at this time of year.
As a Robbie Paul stated, this year is about survival and scraping through. Hopefully once we're back onto full sky money things will be a little more stable....Hopefully. Still bitterly disappointed that the other clubs appear to be once again divvying up the sky money the previous owners agreed to not receive. That's 3 paying adults that won't be attending away games this year unfortunately, with the exception of maybe a couple.

The first bit we all should feel and understand at this club.
I never really liked that idea and would have liked that money used in the championship or to promote the game in some other way.
I don't travel to many grounds for various reasons and RFL Odsal is one i wont be visiting anymore.
That said, good luck to the loyal fans at Bradford.
