We love players that nobody else wants , with a point to prove. Other clubs (Cas ) seemed to rush in and sign players in desperation who would probably would have been left on the shelf.
It also ended up helping us because better players have become available.

People need to understand the difference between "Debt" and "Under Financed" the club was not in "Debt" to the tune od £600k it was "Under Financed", this means if the shortfall wasn't addressed then a "Debt" would occur, selling a few high earners gave a "Double whammy" effect, giving WTW some "Working Capitol" and allowing it some room in a "revised" budget.

I have to say, I was a big fan of Aiton but his biggest flaw was his speed of pass from acting halfback.
I think McShane is better, though I can't say I've studied him on the subject.
If he is, it will improve our attack immediately.

The reason we struggle to use our outside backs is by the time we get the ball to them, the rush defense is up on the centre and the ball doesn't get there. The only way through is when either Ali does some nagic in the tackle or when Smith could really get an on the money ball through the gap.

If McShane and Wildie between them can speed that up, we will have a completely new dimension to the attack. I look forward to seeing how that works out for us.

There seems to be a real 'togetherness' developing with the team calling themselves 'Crazy Gang'.
Think and hope this will develop into real 'bloody mindedness' attitude on the field.

There's some great footage on youtube of Paul. It's a 10 minute compilation of his tries, assists and tackles over the last couple of seasons. He looks as though he has plenty in his locker and I'm sure he'll become a firm favourite with our fans with his no nonsense style. I like what I've seen so far.

In addition to good handling skills and strength in the tackle a good kicking game demonsrated.
Only highlights I know ,but certainly impressed me.

He can kick goals too always important to have some options in that dept when battlig for points

When the club was selling players off every week I was worried about what sort of team we would have next season.In recent weeks some good signings have been made ,it is now looking much more promising for next year.

A half-back and some cover for 1-5 and then we should be sorted, could do with another prop as I'm not convinced as of yet with the 4 (5 if you count Tautai) we have so far.

I think we all worried a bit dave but thankfully the future looks brighter, two steps back and one step forward.

People have been telling me they were looking forward to next year, up to now i've doubted their sanity but i'm slowly coming around to it and i'm sure we'll all be chomping at the bit come the start of the season.

Its been said they are building a siege mentality within the dressing rooms, we'll need it and we the fans need to match it.
