No at 9 with Kay at 6 if Lino was replaced, or Kay and Bowes interchanging at 9 if Hood drops out.

Good lineup but I’d swap Atoni and Battye round.
Eddie has a good pair of hands and has had a few games at 13 before. Just my personal choice.
We need Kaye on the bench but it’s tough on Bowes.

Just watched the Saints game back and we will give ourselves half a chance against Les Cats if we can dramatically cut down on our errors ,( forced & unforced ) . Looking back at it now it had a real impact on our chances of creating any kind of pressure on Saints as time and time again we came up with some howlers ,the Franco one in particular was a dagger to the heart ,gifting Makinson probably his easiest try of the season .At times we went toe to toe for long periods with Saints who made more than their fare share of errors but the big difference was they capitalised on ours whereas we didn’t or couldn’t .

Sadly, how many times have we said that about cutting down on our errors

We’ve never shook that particular hoodoo off bar the odd games ,expected it in the early games but they should have got it out of their systems a long time ago

I always believed Trinity play better in the heat. We don’t seem to fair well in the rain or cold conditions. Be interesting to see some stats.

I fully expect Catalans to work to the edges and shift the ball across the line and keep their edges deep.

I also hope we have our wingers fully conscious of leaving space on the edges. Davies and Johnstone will both exploit that. Griffin and Kalepi on one side will hopefully keep their left edge tackling if the run wide angles.

Don't know the stats,but from memory McNamara's Catalan have given us a very hard time,with some right old thrashings among our defeats.We look a lot stronger than I expected for this one,so hopefully payback time,but nothing but our best will do.Hope Tom doesn't play!

He's playing second row. He's played long minutes when there.
Bowden and Whitbread missing so we needed someone. Though I might have tried the French prop.

Bowden didn't come back last week when he came off last week so assume injured.
