It seems to me that is exactly what Wakey are doing though I don't know about silly money more clearing out players, who are not good enough or who have gone as far as they can with the club, to bring in fresh faces.

Seems both clubs are doing similar sort of business yet both sets of fans believe the other to be in financial trouble. I have no idea either way but wont believe a word of it till someone puts up some real evidence which I really doubt anyone on here can.

Essentially I was, in a tongue in cheek manner, suggesting that his own opinion on Boyle is not really at the heart of Cas' decision to offer him a contract or not. Obviously this was intended as sarcasm, and as such to have to subsequently spell out that by 'cannot believe' I actually mean 'of course I can believe they are willing to do so as your opinion as a poster who regularly spouts crap' would have defeated the object.

The reason Cas are trying to save a few bob or two is because they've overspent else where on other players.

We now have to strengthen and the only way to do that is release a few players or try and get some existing contracts reduced.

Correct. If Boyle joins us it will be down to a number of factors the main one as ever being that we probably offered more dosh. It's nice to see a Cas fan being realistic, it would be nice to see the same from some Trin fans as well. The days of club loyalty/local lads etc etc is pretty much gone and people need to accept that. Players will swap clubs more than ever in years to come.

ok sometimes i get accused of spreading crap but it has always been given to me form people within the RL circles and sometime this never come to fruition so people assume that stuff was made up - many things go on and never happen for one reason or another.

Spot on Vasty. You can forget any player loyalty in 99 out of 100 players.
There are all out for what they can get. Agents are now full time and can earn a good living from RL and are encouraging players to move for IMO the wrong reasons.

Sadly its all about money, all the money that is coming into the game is going into the players and their agents pockets. There is huge upward pressure on wages, it needs to be halted, more money needs to trickle down to grassroots Rugby.

Boyle will be joining the club thats offered him a decent contract and its neither cas or waky.
