Also, we've all see what Bradford do with attendance figures, so we will count the season ticket holders on every attendance and just add pay on the day fans to the total?'"
I'm sorry why should they, if they can't be bothered to help the club in the earlier months why should they be bothered to after them
there has been plenty of time and in fact the club has helped them out in the split payment

| To ensure you would pay £100..... if the 2500 wasn't met you'd be paying £175 so the incentive is to contribute to the 2500.. Those who could not afford not able / waiting to buy them as Christmas Presents etc etc.. have imo been anxiously waiting to see if the club met this target, and now we have they will buy more season tickets when they can afford to do so over the coming months.

| I can see a problem at the end of next season if they don't increase the prices after the early bird offer. Next season what is the incentive to get it early if the price doesn't increase, this will leave the club with a cash shortfall when there are no other monies coming in.

The price will only increase if the 2500 isnt matched. So the incentive to get it early like I have said is to keep it at a £100.. if were easily getting 6000 season tickets next year (highly unlikely) then the desire to get it would decrease as we people would think I don't need to get it yet as I know we'll easily make the target and therefore my contribution won't effect it much.

Why? Are season ticket sales being monitored by the UN, or something? I'm sure we can manipulate to accommodate, if we're only talking a shortfall of a couple of dozen or so, especially if it encourages a lot more people buy in at 100 quid nearer Christmas.

Looking at Twitter, Andrew Glover seems to suggest that the price of an adult ticket after the 1st hasn't been decided yet, even if the target is met, so to guarantee the £100 ticket its probably wise to get one before the deadline.

Quote We can only promise to keep the price down if we get the 2500 fans. If less than 2500 supporters become a member, season ticket prices will revert back to last years early bird price of £175 adults, £95 Concessions and £20 juniors. That deffo suggets the price will be £100 IF 2500 season tickets are sold before sept 30th, they can't change that?

Without wishing to prolong the legal debate, the wording of the announcements on the website looks even more vague in this respect than it did with the "payment in full" issue (to me).
Initially, I thought exactly the same as you - that prices would stay at 100 quid. But reading back through the articles, I can see how you could interpret it as prices staying at 100 quid for those who subscribe before the deadline.
Maybe there's an announcement I missed that makes this clearer?

The wording of that release has been debated at length - it does not however state that the price will be kept after 30th September, under any circumstances - nor should it!
We are all keen to see the club grow and become successful once more, and I really like that we have these types of deals, but why should I get my money out before the end of September if I could have just waited and let you lot do the work of keeping my price down!
By the sound of it, the price after 30-09 may not be the £175 originally proposed, but I'd be a bit narked if they didn't show some benefit to those who coughed up when required - else why bother again next year?
Your comment above just confirms the poor wording of the release as they clearly intended that to be relevant to those buying before 30-09 (or 1-10 as it now transpires).
If they now said '£125 if you buy before Xmas or £150 thereafter' then that would seem reasonable to everyone involved. No Rocket Science required!

Because if you can afford it, you not only go some way to ensuring that you actually benefit from the deal yourself, but you also help those who may not be able to afford it at the time, but would like to buy in when they have the money. That way, you get a nice, warm feeling in your heart, knowing that you've done a good deed, and reflect on those immortal lines "this is Wakefield, together we are stronger".

This offer is getting more and more ambiguous by the day...what's wrong with a simple straight forward offer of £120 say before october 1st and £175 after, clear as mud???

Less than 48 hours to go….
The Wakefield Trinity Wildcats would like to remind supporters of our late night opening hours tonight and tomorrow.
The Wildcats Superstore will stay open until 7pm selling 2012 season tickets for fans that work until 5pm but wish to purchase in store.

With membership for next year equating to an unbelievable £7.69 per game this offer is simply unbeatable. The club needs at least 2500 people to show their support and sign up to this new membership scheme before Saturday at 4pm to keep season ticket prices slashed at just £100 adults, £80 concessions and just £20 juniors.
The club is urging all supporters to sign up to be a member next year and help keep prices low for [size=150EVERYONE.[/size The future of the Wildcats is set to be exciting and successful with a host of new signings already announced for next year.
