Some people are suggesting Brough has been "tapped up" and that we are using this as a bargaining tool to drive a better deal for Brough.
If the evidence is there and sufficent to drive a better deal,then surely this evidence would be sufficent to hand over to the RFL.

If its not sufficent evidence to give to the RFL,then i cant believe that it would be sufficient to drive a better deal out of Huddersfield.

If we are using the evidence to drive a better deal,we are no better than Huddersfield,we are protecting them and ensuring no one is punished for breaking the rules.

Having said that i think we should allow him to make negotiations with whoever he wants, but has to honor the rest of his contract at WTW. Thats fair for everyone, Us, Danny, Shudds or anyone else who is interested.

From Danny's point of view he might end up with more than 170 if he stays for 2010 and has free reign over a bidding war.

PONNER seems to reckon Trinity wanted 140k for Brough, if true it's not surprising Hudds balked at that. Still if there is no desperation to sell then Trinity can ask for whatever they want.

unless the deal is off I dont think Danny should play at the weekend. We need to get used to playing without him and why not start now against a lesser team (no disrespect to Salford) and also I'm sure his week and training will have been heavily disrupted by the thought of the £££££'s. and in my opinion only, I wouldn't be suprised if the deal was done last year and Huddersfield used DB financial problems to exploit the situation.
