Just cos he's a fev lad doesn't mean I would like to see him at Fev! I've seen a lot of him and watch a good deal of Barrow when they vist W Yorks if fev aren't playing and as he's an ex fev lad I tend to take note of how he goes!
For reasons I've posted on this thread I don't rate him in the top 6 half backs in our league! I would NOT want to see him back at fev nowadays.

I was thinking about players for Wakefield in NL the other day and thought he might possibly come back. When he first came to Wakey was electric. Had creation, flair and a very good kicking game both out of the hand and at goal. I thought he would definately play for a Sts or Wigan but never kicked on to that level unfortunately. I have not seen much of him at Barrow tbh. But he must have the maturity now to ancor the 1st receiver spot and be the kicker we may need in NL. Someone who played and coached at a very good level said that all good teams below SL have a good 7 and 6. Maybe Rooney can do that??

Some players for what ever reasons do poorly at certain places. He will still have the correct skills to be a good half in NL. If his motivation is right and he is fired up a return to Wakey could be good in that situation. There are plenty of halves in NL that dont have his skill set and do well. Iam sure with the correct system could be very good in NL again.

Wrong. I watch our leahue week in week out, When Fev play thurs I oft take another game in at the weekend. Jamie is not in the top 6 halves in our league. You would think given your premise, that he would dominate in our league. It is just NOT happening.
