Stanley under 11's lost out to Stanningley 26-10. A spirited performance from Stanley against a good Stanningley outfit. Will be a long second half to the season for Stanley due to lack of players, feel sorry for the coach, his hands are tied.

stanley will be fine large area of players from outwood comp emerge every year , lee is a great coach with superb ethics and as single handed kept the team afloat with little help imho and took the poisoned chalice .
this time last year crigg had 8/9 players they know have 20 things can alter at the drop of a hat . heworth have constantly had 10 and hardly every lose . swings and roundabouts in junior rl as per norm .

Stanley will always be a very strong team and should be discounted at everyone's peril , at some point however you have to take stock of other things in your lives and just get to grip with the reality that junior rugby is just that junior not super duper league and as long as kids are having fun and being kept away from crime, drugs and the other bad s//te that pollutes the streets then we all win who ever they play for .

panthers under 11s take on the eastmoor dragons looking to back up last weeks superb performance and win over previously unbeaten lock lane,we have lost two outside backs due to injury and like crigg we are waiting for paperwork for our two new players.

It's all sorted , young mutts will have a run out tomorrow - keep him of the fags, beer, women etc . tonight & I'm sure he'll play as well as he's trained the last couple of weeks . Seems popular with the other lads too -which was maybe a worry coming from another team- but no probs at all there I think . Hope he plays well .

after suffering a dismal game last week in the Barla final every player stood up to the mark and shone well done to the lads

cas panthers continued their strong form with a 20-10 win against a very good eastmoor side.after a strong start from eastmoor the panthers knuckled down and eventually got well on top by the end of the game despite a consolation try taking the gloss off a very strong defencive effort.

crigg pounded on the points on a shaw cross side that was low in numbers but not effort . forgot the score but good for the young un to get his first game out of the way ....next week eastmoor

under 9s went down to birstall 6-4 in a game that swung from end to end . last year they lost 15-1 the improvement within that time is huge . well done lads

yeah it was a little daunting but he is a genuine young lad and is quite mature for his age , great to see hes part of a 20 man "team" and hes even now getting on with his old adversary which will bode well for the school

. kettlethorpe high will have a belting team in year 7 next September .

looks like kettlethorpe will have useful team for later this year,cas high wont be too bad with a mixed side from the panthers and lock lane certainly high hopes are already expected from them and with wembley on the horizon for next year the bonding of the two has already begun.

Have you had the cheque book out mate? Must have been a decent signing on fee to lure them to Cas

apparently sandal ru have a decent team at this age with "one to watch player" about to switch codes. it would be nice to see both on the wembley trail

UNDER 11s reports..........

Crigg at Eastmoor Topsy turvy game with the lead exchanging hands several times , once again the away fans was treated to stand up comedy from the waistline challenged guy whom im now begin to suspect as either a suffered a serious bout of amnesia / suffered a serious glue attack upon his head / or c is just a scruff as he never ever ever as been seen to my knowledge without that mingin red cap on . he also treated us to the traditional eastmoor 40 meter ref dash as he tried to intimidate someone one quarter his age and one tenth his weight . this resulted in a player receiving his marching orders a player who incidentally was lucky to still be able to walk after several head shots and other naughty going ons.




players/parents can live with defeats and bad calls but this man does the same every time i see him even when i have been a neutral . i started to watch moor at lock lane as my youngest was playing there as well and me and my eldest had a bet onto the nearest minute he ran on IIRC it was 7 minutes . the man is a fool and needs to be dealt with as the refs for these games are children for heavens sake and need all the support we can give them .

a very good game spoiled by a overzealous coach who probably thinks its all his hard work and the kids nowt.

It finished up 22-12 to Eastmoor .
Unbelievable isn't he ,our porky little friend with the hat that matches his face/hair ? Just informed us (via text)that they want to report our player to the league ! Not a word said while we were up there earlier on to our coach or officials ...they did exactly the same last year .No chance of a DVD either so we can review the game ( not that they asked permission to film it anyway) - balls to him anyway ,two can play at that game, we're going to complain about what their player did & report him for leaving his technical area to rant and rave at the ref .
All this on the back of a Shrek lookalike sending someone round to put 2 of our car windows through last night .

did anybody sign for the dvd befor the game ? if not text them back about child protection
