Mellars has had tons of opportunities, I saw no spark from him as per usual. To be competitive higher up the table we need better than solid. Lyne has been here since the start of the season, although he was insignificant last night we can't write him off just yet.

Lee Smith had a stinker and he will know that, the ipitch has a lot to answer for though. It's not surprising to see Widnes have good home form.

Seriously - you should give up watching the game if you believe that. Try of the season for me - won the game and would have had everyone gushing in eulogies had it been Hock doing that!

Lyne doesn't seem to believe in himself, instead of backing his self he choses to go inside and if the stuff we've been told about his pace then I believe he'd take some catching if he had abit of space.

I have been very critical of Mellars but in all fairness the last few games he has played well in my opinion. Infact the guy who dosn't seem to be doing that much at the moment is Ali.

As far as some of you not seeing much of Lynn didn't you realise he was taken off about half way and never came back.

Next week Mellars to start at centre and lynn dropped I hope.

I noticed he Lynne was taken off and think it was a good call by Agar. Lynne is not backing himself at all and the skip inside and occasional stand still and waffle with the ball is doing him no favours.

For some reason since he picked up an injury earlier in the season and missed a few games Lynes confidence and pace look shot. Wonder if he is still carrying something? Either way he probably needs taking out of the firing line for a couple of weeks.

Don't think Sykes will be playing - not sure if Mathers will be back - Lyne could still be playing!

Mellars was good enough - think some have just got it in for him based on cost etc, but if he plays like that I'm ok with him being in the side whilst he's here.

Thought Annakin wasn't great - which was a bonus as I didn't want him to shine on TV.

Though Lyne was really poor - play died with him every time he got the ball - disappointing after a promising start.

Thought Lee Smith wasn't committed enough at FB, but still showed some class with the ball - move to SO if Sykes is out.

Very happy with the rest - difficult to name them all as they all had a pop!

That was unforgiveable - it was his opportunity to get back on the horse and he failed it!

Fair comments regarding Mellars, I just can help focusing on him when he gets the ball and praying he might knock a few tacklers off and offload or do something unusual. Instead he just seems to die with the ball, as does Lyne at the moment. These are the reasons we will always be just an average team struggling to hit the top 8 in my opinion.

Wilkes try was excellent not many props can move as fast as that well done OLAY ! Do me a favour Mellars just does the bear minimum so average. MAriano is a talent makes me sick a third rate A for average KIWI is ahead of a class you british forward !!!

Mellars poor,Wilkes slow? What a bunch of bleep heads you are.both played well last night,ok ,I too thought Reece was of it.But don't let me stop you blagging players off.Bunch of what rhymes with tankers.

Think Mellars is finding some rhythm now after a decent run in the team. He didn't need to do anything spectacular, was solid and part of a team that performed well and got what they set out to do, 2 points at a very tough place. Don't forget Warrington got spanked there at Easter.

Correct he does the bare minimum infact both do they need to grab the chance playing for the Trinity with both hands.

Scored a cracking try at Wigan and generally played very well that game. Had a good game away at saints. Been solid enough for me to keep his place in the side so far but I reckon Molloy will be putting pressure on him and our other back row forwards if he can gain some fitness somewhere

Had another solid game yesterday, seems to be settling in/getting up to speed.

Talking of Molloy.... it seemed strange that he only played for about 10 minutes...he had no sooner come on than he was off again. Initially I thought it was him that left the gap for "Landrover" to score their second try, but having just watched it again, it wasn't. Did he pick up a knock or something ????

Both of Landrover's scores came when he ran between Mellars and Tim Smith.

I'm afraid to say that he looks pedestrian - I don't think we've ever seen the form he showed for Crusaders, apart from that wading through treacle 80m try against Cas last season.

We could do much better.
