OMG who on earth makes these decisions ? He was shot at Hull, i saw him in a game for whitehaven last season and thought that it was an imposter on the pitch. The bloke has gone so far down he looked completely out of his depth at championship level and whitehaven got rid after a few games. unbelievable......the signing you would expect from a club who already know their fate !

Got to agree with RhinoRoy. Saw him last season playing for Whitehaven and the guy is literally shot to pieces. His legs are absolutely shattered. I've nothing against Wakefield whatsoever to bias my judgement, but this is a poor, poor signing. Admittedly, on a pay as you play deal you've nothing to lose, but it really casts doubt on the ability of the person who is in charge of your recruitment.

I cant see what the problem is. We have nothing to loose if he is on a pay as you play so if he turns out to be fit and not shot to pieces then it will be a good signing and if he is shot to bits and doesn't play then we are not paying him to sit in the stands.

I was under the impression pay as you play deals werent allowed under sl rules, didnt a deal like this crop up a year or two ago when we were linked with someone. Could be wrong though

Pay as you play deals are allowed but you have set aside the money in the salery cap for if he plays every game.

.... and there isn't a chance Trinity are anywhere near the cap level. Poor signing all the same.

It is a big gamble for us. He could either play 3 or 4 games all season because of injuries, or he could be one of our best players.

I wouldnt say its a gamble on our part, if he only plays 3 or 4 games, it wouldnt cost us hardly anything.

Proof that the guy was crocked is not needed. It's the other kind of proof that we need, and that's a gamble, as everyone obviously realises due to the nature of the contract.
