Rod Findlay was only at the RFL for 3 years.He was a solicitor dealing with medical negligence prior to that.

I worked for the RFL in 1999 and 2000 and Rod was there then, to mu knowledge he only left the RFL two years ago so by my deduction he was there at least 9 years.

But he was brought in to oversee the first licence process , now he seems to have turned into some kind of RFL expansion troubleshooter , but a solicitor would not be my first choice of proffessional to kick start struggling clubs

If you worked for the RFL in those years can I ask you a little question.

Have you seen the film Big ? With Tom Hanks in. If so, remember the part where he attends his first meeting about the transformer and answer this.

During the meeting where the top dogs of the RFL said they would revolutionise the sport of Rugby league, didnt you put your hand up and say "I dont get it".

It might have solved all these problems from the past 5 years.

Had I been in such a meeting I would certainly have had my say and probably found myself locked out the following day.

If it were to be met by 500 individuals putting in £1000 each the I agree that would be a mamoth task and almost impossible in a 4 week period.

However, I would imagine that there will be a number of individuals who might have the wherewithall to buy up a block of shares and there may be a number of people who can buy mor ethat 1.

We may not reach the target even then but consider this, if we the fans can get near to the figure required and in doing so demonstrate our commitment to the club then maybe just maybe that might give a potential new owner some confidence in our future.

Don't forget though Crusaders have gone in and out of administration so therefore the 700k loan does not have to be repaid!!!!!

Much as I think all what Wakefield is going through at the moment has to benefit Cas I think what has happened with Cru is not morally right and they should now be the one's fighting for their future!!!
