I remember Shane taking an interest in Nanyn when he was at (Whitehaven?), and his 2 tries for Leigh tonight suggest something. But for me he has never looked SL standard.

Few can argue that he is a big unit who knows where the try line is he is also a very good goal kicker but for me he as never worked hard enough to step up to SL
As for top class British centres we have none not one in the whole of the SL it’s a sign of the times disgraceful really |

We did look at Nanynn for a while but the staff where of the opinion he had the heart of a flea rather than a lion which is what we wanted.

Oh i wasnt suggesting he hasnt been a top player in the past, just that his form this year hasnt been that good, personally as well i rate peacock, roby and graham as better players, he was probably our best english back on last years form though. |

However he didn't come away empty handed, he signed a midget with the heart of a Lion.

Yes he went up to Batley to look him over and decided to get a burger instead, i remember talking to him about Nanynn and was not impressed.
