Some of the locals are not too happy

Is that what you've heard or are they expressed opinions in the WE?

Was in local pub last night and a few people were on about it saying it could cause more problems that good etc. But 1 guy was really keen on the idea.

Also in Wakey Express too.

It sure is only an announcement, but with Walker involved it fills us with more hoper than ever before.

Now the announcement has been made and we've had a week for it to settle down whats the next step. Any artist impressions, funding details, time scales.

I would imagine the shareholders meeting would reveal the full details beyond the summary that we got last week. The rest of us will find out after that event with people posting on here.

sorry may seem harsh but these people really feck me offf they always say the "not on my doorstep" yet happily pop along to the asda and its surroundings . that area used to host lovely wildlife , tarzan's to swing from , swamps with frog spawn and fields for us ketty boys but its ok for them to use something that benefits them .

Most people go to forristers (sp) con club can get quite bust and also cats bar.

I have a friend that called today from methley, and passing the the area where the new ground is to be erected he noticed that there is a new sign up saying newmarket redevelopment
