If that is the case, the auditor will have to have a good reason for doing so, if the other guy's offer is better for the creditors he will have a good cause to take action against the auditor as will they.

If they have money, he'll be interested.
Just the CC conspiracy theory getting out of hand.

Perhaps, but so far its fairly easy to assume this to be the case, I'm sure by now we were losing players, and TBF there aren't even any rumours of players leaving.

The Bulls don't need to do anything, arguably they are all powerless in all this.
It is a concern that they are able to keep all their squad (so far) intact, either that or a blinding bit of business on behalf of whoever is behind all this.

| If i was HMRC i would be monitoring the situation closely. If it comes to Caisley making an offer and it's nowhere near what the current contracts of players are worth then HMRC should instruct the administrator to start selling players which may trigger a better offer from CC.

| Surely any offer has to satisfy the major creditors otherwise HMRC can invoke the winding up order then all assets are sold at whatever sum can be raised
Should BB come out of this with a relatively intact squad I personally believe that it's all been a big big con

| If all the creditors receive 100% of what they are owed, then the Bulls should be able to maintain all the present playing squad.
If not they should be made to sell what assets (players) will generate enough money that will then satisfy the creditors.
I think that is how it should work.
Up to now only the coaching team and back office have gone, mainly to streamline the new operation and make it easier to integrate new coaching staff, none of which has generated any income for the creditors.
I can see all the back office staff re-employed next week, but perhaps on less impressive contracts.

Not according to people who were there.
By their accounts, when Mr Guilfoyle stated that there were no interested parties, a Director from Greenwood's stated that he'd been trying to contact Mr Guilfoyle and suggested a figure of £500k - Mr Guilfoyle responded by saying that he didn't have voicemail, so was difficult to get hold of.
Now I don't know about anyone else, but if I had 10 days to save an 'iconic' business like the BB, I'd have worked out how to use the voicemail on my phone, you know, just in case someone came in with an offer that might be of interest. Unless of course I already had a deal all wrapped up and didn't want anyone to upset that particulat cosy arrangement...

| The latest twist - Mr Guilfoyle and Mr Caisley spotted having a meeting earlier today in Ilkley. I wonder if that's the reason he cancelled the meeting with players that was scheduled for this morning, without actually telling them, causing a massive Twitter-storm of irate comments from said players?
Makes you wonder if the altruistic Mr Noble has just realised that agreeing to coach the Bulls for free was a massive kick in the balls for Mick Potter and might just transform him from Bratfut hero to zero in one fell swoop? Perhaps that realisation has casued a last-minute change of heart, thereby derailling the carefully engineered machinations of Mr Caisley and co?
This tale twists and turns like a twisty turny thing!

That's how it's looking isn't it! Would the sacked staff be able to take it further?
Anyone know if the players are still currently getting paid?

But that's 200K, advanced to the current Bulls club, that WHEN they are disolved and a Newco put in place, will be lost i.e. owed to the RFL by a club no longer in existence.
Look at it this way, it's 200K that the Bulls Newco, should receive in due course, but which will have already been paid to an extinct club.

| This whole situation really does stink. Main money generating assets (players) not released, coaching and other staff booted out. Deadline of 10 days now looking like being extended? How and why? Advance of £200k from the RFL? Potential interested party not entertained when BG is obliged to listen to them! Based on what we went through last year this is all very different and there are lots of smokes and mirrors.
I feel for the Bradford fans, players and those who lost their job. My anger and resentment to the RFL and the public as well as game's favouritism to the Bulls (and bigger clubs) hurts like fifty knives in the back with poison on the blades.
This stinks and should be handled like everyone else. I genuinely believe that there will be a Bradford in the SL next season. However, they should build from the ground up, not be jettisoned in as no weaker on the field as they are now. It does not penalise bad management and encourage good housekeeping.
I believe all RL and SL chairmen should vent their anger and vote out the current board of the RFL. Can't do anything above board and waste the RFL funds on lost projects whilst making the running of our game look like a sham.
Anyone got a peg for my nose?

| I thought it was generally accepted now that the RFL did help the club whilst in, and getting out, of administration.
The cash being advanced is what they would be due anyway at a later date. Nothing really to get upset about.

Yes it is! The money is being given to a club that the RFL know will not exist after next Tuesday.
If a Newco IS formed, they would expect the money too (it's due to all SL clubs at a later date in the season).
What are the RFL going to do? Say "no, you've had it already", or "here you go, have some more on us"?

| Perhaps someone with more insolvency expertise than me could comment, but aren't the administrators duty bound not to give preferential treatment to any creditors (in this case the players)? By rights shouldn't any cash be split equally between the creditors? Something smells. By rights if we are to believe BG and there are no bidders why hasnt any players been offloaded?

| Apparently someone did come forward after the meeting on Monday night, but no details supplied, obviously as nothing is concrete.
The RFL are making themselves look as squeaky clean as the banks.
I wonder if they'll give their ground d (Odsal) to the new Bullocks???

You're muddling it up. Why would the Newco repay money they have never had?
The Newco would not have received the 200K and would not be liable to repay it - the money has gone to the current Bulls org - but they will no longer exist. No repayment would actually be due, as this is an advance on a scheduled payment.
The Newco would expect their SKY payment in September, as scheduled, but it has already been given to an organisation that no longer exists.
Do the RFL set the Newco up for a fall by refusing payment (as they should), or do they pay them twice??
