I used to work in a warehouse with an ex-Wakey player and ex-Leeds player, crazy times. Good god they never stopped living the game. We all went to watch Eng v NZ a few years back at the McAlpine, as it was known then. During the early stages of the game an England player nearly took a Kiwi players head clean off, the crowd fell silent expecting the worse and the ex-Wakey player bolted straight to his feet frantically clapping screaming "Good hit!! good hit!!!!"
My dad took an ex-Wakey captain on a few years back as an apprentice, my dad said tbf he wasn't much cop and a few weeks later he was given the sack by the firm, my dad say's the former Trinity favourite smashed the office up in a rage!!

That's the trouble with BJ - you never know which shopper is going to turn up. One time, he'll be running from shop to shop, splashing the cash and chatting with the assistants and such; the next, he's moping round with a face like a chipped frigate, looking totally disinterested and not buying a bloody thing.

Agree entirely. Sam was a fans favourite but for me he was a 100% man with the odd flash of brilliance but not really worthy of a quota spot. I've said this on numerous occasions and still stand by it.

Sometimes after 50 minutes or so my dad would say "Is Obst playing" but you could guarantee he'd always have a great 10 minute spell in every game. He's one of the few players we've had who can break from our own 40.

You surely mean Bradford, Vermont, USA or Bradford County, FL, USA, can't think of any other Bradford that fits the description otherwise.

Wakefield with it's art museum, historic theatre, shiny new shopping centre, waterfront developments, legendary castle, magnificent cathedral, soon to be built swimming baths and sports complex is far more fancy than the only other Bradford I know of.
