Don't really want to get into all this but I will bite this once, Had it not been for the ref yesterday I think it would have been a real landslide win for us. Just because we won the penalty count by a country mile it does not follow that it did us any good. In reality all it did was hinder us and stop us getting any sort of a flow, and even the most ardent of your fans would have to admit at some point were that game allowed to flow yesterday we would have run you off the park.

Anyway I will leave it at that and not turn it into yet another slanging thread but I think and its only my opinion but come the end of the season we will be in with a shout of the playoffs. Also if you can get some new players on board without loesing too many of your existing ones I am sure you wont come bottom.

I as much as it pains me to say it, I do think if the game had flowed you could have run in a few more.

I think i agree but i also think that if Rangi Chase was in our team and not their's the score could have been reversed.

Without him it would certainly have been a lot closer game.

I think by the end of this season everyone will want him and unfortunatly I think the highest bidder will get him

Or even someone *like* Rangi Chase; interesting to watch the Salford v Crusaders game and see Jarrod Sammut, Stefan Ratchford and Matty Smith take the field, all of whom were available last year and would walk into our starting line-up. And yet we end up with Jeremy Smith.

Also agree with the comment about the KR pack; as things stand, our lads would get massacred.

We were far too light up front to deal with Cas, and too inexperienced out wide to deal with Cas. Will agree that the penalties took any sting out of the game, and I will agree that we'd have been comprehensively hammered if the referee had been competent.

EDIT: Won't take away the effort from our boys though. Tried harder over 80 minutes than they did for most of last season!

Child was shocking, he needs to take a long hard look at himself. Saying that Cas were just that bit too good, Chase made all the difference. We tried our nuts off but just lack that bit of quality required. Hopefully a few nore guys can come in to help the young lads out.

Your certainly right about the flow of the game being affected and you could very easily have benefit from a more free flowing game.
I'm sure you will finish higher than a fair few sides on this weekends performances. Fatty McRae looks like he may be in for another tough year, so there's even hope for us if we can bolster the ranks a bit sharpish!!

Well i would agree the ref was absalutly crap you must be off your head if you think by having 12 extra penaltys agaings a team youy hhave gained no advantage you have got an avrage 200 plus meters with no effort whilest forcing you apponents to expend far more enagy deffending the penaltys get real the game is not that complacted

lots of effort yesterday and great to see the young lads not throwing the towel in but with this squad I cant see us winning a game we need 2 props and 2 halfbacks and thats only the start Its going to be a real battle to finish 13th
and where do we get the players from even IF the new board have the money to bring players in

We were missing mcgoldrick, aspinwall, fozzard, isa, thompson and owen.

It wasnt a full strength cas side, we were rusty and hudson missed most of the match leaving a young kid to play hooker all game but we still managed to score more tries than any other team this weekend so i'm happy enough, thought we looked better than yourselves, quins, salford, catalans and on a par with crusaders, fc, leeds and bradford.

The ref was terrible for both sides but in the end probably did wakey a favour as if we were able to get into full flow i think we would have scored 3 or 4 more tries.

Even though you were out played your team, with alot of young lads in it, put up a good fight which you should all take some pride in.

Milner is already a better hooker and dummy half than Hudson and you were stronger with him in the team.

We were missing Jeffries who would definitely have made us better as Hyde did nothing at half back
