Wow i'd be very happy if this signing is true,Our first proper loose foward we've had in about 10 years at belle vue! but i'll just keep the champers on ice just in case!

I would argue that Monty Betham was a proper loose forward and did a very good job for us.

Remember seeing an interview with Purdham and I think he stated that it was Kear that first pushed him into the Pro game and selected him for his first junior representative games etc, there is clearly a link so who knows.

He is a very good player and would be a quality signing not least because he is also handy with the boot both in hand and off the floor.

Will be interesting to see what news comes out of Quins tonight re the positive announcement as at the moment it really does seem like a case of rats leaving a sinking ship.

I honestly dont think we were ever in the market for LMS and i think he sees himself as a top player even if i think he is average at best.
