If Molloy is not on a big wedge then fair enough but to sign him last year on an 18 month contract and not play him much is a bit strange.
Wouldn't it have been better to sign him til the end of last season then make a decision on extending for this season?
I know this is old news but Molloy's remaining contract could have been used to go towards securing a better prospect within the club.

You seem to have made an assumption that I was suggesting they were SL players and threw in a derogatory remark aimed at me, however you were wrong.

That may well be the case and i hope that if they get a chance they thrive. I doubt though we will see them but either way it will be fantastic for their development. Still doesn't alter the fact that the bylaws state we have to have a certain amount of homegrown players in the squad (7 this year i think) and they would have to be named in the squad to hit this quota anyway.

If this forum is STILL about opinions , here’s mine . Although the squad  doesn’t look any worse or better than last season (other than the loss of KM) I think we are very thin, should the inevitable injuries or loss of form happen . I believe the inclusion of Max and Jordan is a way of circumventing the rules on home grown players having to be in the squad. I  cannot understand the complete disregard of OUR OWN talent , specifically in position order , Grayson is better than Lynne , Cowling is better than Keinhorst , A Gledhill is better than Smith and G Griffin is miles better than Molloy . Although it looks like K/H as done her best to reduce costs while replacing the player we are still left with one and two high earners who are mediocre at best . Anybody who watches the game must be aware of our defensive frailties ,I wonder if London could help us out.

FWIW I think the teams main defensive frailties were those out wide. We are weak on bombs to the corners and teams always get an overlap on us at the wingers always shoot out and across the line. Sort that out and I'm pretty confident in the team defence.

Who's KM?

We are no thinner than last year with a lot of Utility players in the ranks to cover.

We are better balanced IMO than last year with more pivot style players.

As for the youngsters, some of what you say is true - some a ancient history. As for the Gledhills, awkward seems to be what I here (if true) and Adam is the first and won't be the last to pay the price IMHO. You can believe in your kids but you can't demand others do or at least until they are satisfied with what they have seen. Obviously I only have one side of the story but there is a pattern in some cases - it's not always the coach and the club who is at fault is it - not that you'd believe it from what's posted on here

How many first team games has have Grayson, Cowling and Gledhill proven themselves in? I don't think there is any evidence to suggest the above. Cowling has had a couple of games and has done OK. Does Okay make him better than Keinhorst? I don't know because I haven't seen Keinhorst... but I'm guessing with the appearances he's made in a very good Leeds team that he will be half decent.

Fair comment but how many chances have the alternatives (our own) been given compared to others cast offs . also there is the financial aspect to the argument , ours would cost less.
