You only have to look at Widnes, Leigh and now Halifax to see that when the next franchises come round I think you are in big trouble if something is not done about your stadium.

Leaving the city would do Trinity no benefit whatsoever, there need's to be more presence not less, on the road matches at Oakwell perhaps is an option. I think £20/18 is too expensive but then if the ground tax was £15 people would still complain/use it as an excuse not to go.

I know this is living in la la land but if the funding was ever there to cover any shortfall I would like to see an adult standing season ticket price of £100, £10/£8 pre-purchase match day entry, OAP/Students £5 and under 16’s free. I think these prices would boost the numbers sufficiently to ensure the shortfall isn’t too large, it may even surpass it if take up is good.

Mika we have lost our best player thats why our attack has gone pants. If we don't get a new scrum half in the next 2 month either or loan or whatever then it is a poor showing.

Surely the quality of that scrum half is of more importance then just getting any old 7 in.

Correct but I honestly think we can still do well this season with a half decent one on loan from Aus, Dobson came to wigan on loan remember he couldn't get a game in aus so im sure there is someone out there on loan for the rest of the season. We need some organisation and fast Khlav. A half decent one will do for the rest of year its better than what we have now.For next season a proper replacement for Brough.

we will prob end up in 9th place, as a realist, I believe part of why we had such a good season last year was due to Hull, Bradford and Warrington having unusually bad ones in superleague, we will see these teams well above us this season, putting us down the ladder. In fairness, this is the 1st year I havent had a season ticket since '96 due to financial constraints I have still managed to get to most games this season, but the more I have been lately, I just can't justify paying £18 + beer + other match related fees to then be served up with 80 mins of being bored to tears like the Cas and Crusaders games.

I just end up walking away at the end feeling like i'v just been mugged!

You can't beat a couple of bad losses for a bit of doom and gloom.

At the start of the year, we had one of the best squads we have had for a few years and lots of promise of a brand new start in a stadium. The club cannot be blamed for Newton taking drugs, and it is not the clubs fault that two players thought the grass was greener elsewhere and ignored contractual obligations (not everyone agrees, but keeping players who don't want to stay is a very costly way of sticking to your principles, and sometimes it is better to cut and run).

So we've hit a sticky patch. Most teams do. It is not a sign of lack of progression though, as two months ago we were a definite improvement, but matters took a different turn. Judge it in July is my view.

other than myself you are at the top along with me as the best poster slugger everything you say is allways spot on, oh apart from the Agar getting England job but you obviously got that off someone unreliable. Stick to yourself mate you talk a lot of sense . I am not joking !

I think everyone is down at the moment. Even the players from what I have read. Losing key players is tough enough but losing them then hitting a really bad patch of form is even worse.

I think the big problem is when we punch above our weight then expectation levels raise significantly so when we start losing people get upset. We're the victim of our own success unfortunately to a point.

That said, the players IMHO need to stand up and be counted as JK is getting a lot of flack and unfairly so IMHO. It's the players who are not doing their job and yes JK is the man who needs to change that but some have simply not been at all professional in recent months.

If JK is guilty of anything its showing too much loyalty to certain players. That could be his downfall. He needs to start picking the players in form who have the right attitude. Not those who seem to think they can just walk into the team.

IMHO I think we need to look to bring in some fresh blood to mix it up. Ideally a top quality 7 IMHO. We need a new midfield general, as Obst, BJ and Cooke are not the leaders we need to replace Brough. Support players yes, leaders and directors of the team - sorry but no!

I think a top tier signing would give everyone a boost and inject some life and freshness into the team. We need someone to take control on the field and fast. Don't tell me we don't have no spare money has that is rubbish.

Interesting times ahead, we're down but not out yet. Let's get behind the lads and keep the faith.

At least we've got our lowest points of the season out of the way early, the disastrous nilling by Shudds and the appalling performance and ultimately the defeat to Crusaders. Surely even Wakefield can't play that bad again this season!

We usually save these kinds of performances for the business end of the season when we collapse against Cas at home or squander a 20 point lead when we look to be securing 2 valuable play off points!

Got to be onwards and upwards from here... He says!
