We didn't have that kind of money when we did the North Stand and had to prioritise.

It's exactly what it is, additions to a 100+ year old structure separated by years in between. If the money had been there all at once a full demo and rebuild would've happened or at the very least some futureproofing would have been built in. Much more difficult to retrofit around what there is now, but not impossible.

You’ve lost me. Why would I complain, I don’t doubt all parties strived to achieve the best they were able. I have been involved in projects (not construction) on occasion and like getting into the details. It’s something I’m enthusiastic about but most I'm sure would see it as as quite sad

Passed the ground today and the small improvements have made a great difference, just the old cats bar being painted grey makes it looks so much smarter. Even the boards advertising hospitality and the boarding around the soon to come new shop, it all looks great. They were working on the north stand concrete today so no messing with that.

I’ve been looking on the council site for the plans regarding the stadium improvements and while I can see the west terrace plans I can’t find anything for the new club shop on Donny Road. Am I missing something?

I keep looking on a monthly basis (sad I know) and the monthly WMDC planning agenda isn’t published until a week before the planning meeting.
