We have some great young british talent but we have some aare no way good enough like Vievers, Hyde . Blaymire is not young anymore and he as run is course. Smith is sooo AVERAGE its untrue and Burrow wont come here will he ! If thats the best you can do we have to go to Aus for this key position.

Vievers i can agree with i think he could be a good championship full back seems solid but dosent offer anything other than a points kicker. Hyde i think has shown some good games and some bad but considering hes a fullback playing at half back with a hooker i think hes done well and with abit of proper coaching could become quite good with time and the right training plan. Im not going to bother arguing about blaymire as u seem to just hate him for the sake of it and hes leaving at the end of the season so you've got your wish there. As for the half backs im not sure where you started this argument from i stated because Walshaw wasnt an aussie i was suprised you knew he existed. I think we do need a half back and he will probably be australian which i have no problem with but you seem intent on signing aussies in every position well except fullback where you would prefer us to play our best !

You worked that out from a 20 minute spell in a beaten team. You have to despair at some of the rubbish posted on here.

I have watched Trouty for years and he's A talent, can't ever see him becoming a SL prop he's just not built for it. no doubt i'll be told of past players who were similar size but for me the games changed and it won't wash anymore.

This is in no way putting him down but i just don't see the prop bit at SL level.

i have watched kyle even at junior level and progress as a fine talent . i watched home and away even as far as cumbria as the lads secured the league leaders and the play offs. i would not dream of posting a comment about a young mans ability if it was negative neither would i without firsthand evidence .

OK, you want to play it sensible. I to have watched many years of junior RL. I am constantly surprised by which ones make it and which don't. I am also less surprised how often the touchline experts and wannabe coaches get it wrong.

It's almost impossible to tell which Academy players will make it at first team level. It is totally impossible to judge whether they have after 20 mins or as you put it have the X-factor. Believing that as I do I frankly can't accept your reasoning, to me I don't care how much you've followed a player that statement is flawed.

I don't care what folk say now, no one and I mean no one was predicting Gareth Ellis making it big. He was universally considered a utility/squad player as a youngster. If anyone would have said Blaymire would have got 4 years in SL and been on the fringe of the GB set up when he was a Trinity Academy player they would have been committed. The two star players at the time were Feather and the lad from Doncaster (can't remember his name) but he did a long stint at Fev. They had the size and the X-factor at the time.

So to conclude - 20 mins is nowhere near enough and I maintain it was a poor comment.
