Had a quick look at a few pages on here- well done you guys, especially snowie who is obviously putting in a lot of work. We sadly lost a great man in Keith Burhouse recently who along with his family and other volunteers kept fartown going in a similar way after the Bradford fire meant grounds had to be upgraded. If it wasn't for him and his family we may not have a club today. It's guys like you that volunteer who keep the club going when it's needed most.

we're looking at security on the south entrance,
bracing of the front wall in the car park,
smartening of more stepped area's,
a few nasty's that are a H/S hazard issue which have not been requested by the council,
barrier linking which will add capacity in the east stand (when the council gets its finger out

removal of dugouts,
removal of a big tree that has grown unnoticed


cut outs for flood gates in east stand
we are moving into the seated area to check it out,
also we have plans to smarten the face of the flats

weather permitting start either sat morning but I'll be there deffo sat afternoon for a few hrs

Just to let you know, if you're looking at security, whilst at the Wakefield Cup finals tonight, quite a few "Youths" climbed in over the wall at the back of the north stand at the eastern end, so maybe some anti-climb paint or razor wire is needed

we are thinking of hiring Rottweiler's for future events



seriously the main issue is about them harming them selves getting in and one other problem

If u do go on to the seats could u have a look at disabled area maybe paint in some proper bays. On a side note could u drop a hint to mc for some new chairs for the carers coz the ones we've got are a bit shabby

due to security I have been asked to keep the gates looked the cats bar but the car park will be open from 9 ish tomorrow, someone will check to see every quarter hour to see if there's any helpers so if your coming hang on a while

Good to see all these improvements being made. I've always enjoyed coming to Trinity, but can I ask if the development at Newmarket is still on track.

Certainly is, work started on site a couple of weeks ago but they are buildings warehouses first, stadium to follow but we are probably talking a couple of years before we are playing in it.

east side are going to be linked together in 4 and 5 barriers, this will a further add capacity of 500 if left as is
both east and west can be tested which is due next month because of demand on the engineers to test them

the Northstand is a much bigger task and will be done by Mr Brown's team

So what is happening then guys are we waiting for council to pass the new stadium modifications? Are we hoping for it to be done for the next home game? Will any letters to council help? i.e. help the premier sporting club/only premier sporting club in the City out seen as they have been a constant hindrance rather than help us.

Quick question, was the wooden stand pulled down because the council owned BV at the time and they had a knee jerk reaction to the Valley Parade fire? Had it been owned by Trinity I guessing it may have survived? Before my time so I've not a clue.

Correct and I suspect that was partly the case - don't make it right though

not sure how that might work out there is no markings at all to go by, I didn't check out the chairs but they look better than the cushioned ones in the stand they do rock but that will be down to the level of the concrete

back in tomorrow for 9-00, will just be adding a few more bright yellow areas as steelwork not in while next week if anyones interested, two games on too u16s and u19s v Hull FC

looking at doing a few mods to the fencing this Saturday, steel being delivered tomorrow, could do with a few strong lads.

also its not looking a good day weather wise but would still like to try and get some freshening up done in the east stand
