You are correct, CP is 20 years or so old. It is currently 2 sided with a capacity of 7000, Thats why they want to move some of their home games to our gaff

So whats the capacity including the golf stand ?

Apart from the fact that we had 7,610 fans in CP for the last home game.
Apart from the facts that we have a South stand that may well be almost US is still there and that we have a golf stand to the north of the pitch (Last time I checked that actually makes it have 4 sides).
Apart from the fact that we have secured funding for our new North stand so the words 'want to' are rather redundant.

The capacity excluding the golf is well over 7k.

Although in a recent interview your CEO confirmed the south end is not counted on capacity (theres 1500 gone)

And the golf has front 6 rows open (it'll be gone soon to make way for your sock factory)

You see that is where your arguement fell down.
They don't count it unless they need it.
Unfortunatly for you that still means it is there if needed so TOTAL capacity including everything available is well over 7K excluding the Golf.

Perhaps, although if it is built with no cladding like the other one, then I imagine those steps will be covered by rear overhang of the roof (or whatever the technical name for that is!)

I'm fairly sure that the roof does not go all the way to the back of the terracing due to the fact that the floodlights are "hinged" and are drooped along the back to replace the bulbs. The back few rows will therefore have no roof over them.

Judging by the amount of bulbs out at the Bradford match, this is long overdue !!!!!

Yep, that was one of the first improvements when Glover took over if I remember correctly.

Can't be the bulbs then, must be a problem elsewhere.
