The Clan has posted clarification on the VT. York Court funding is enough to build a basic stadium that meets the requirements of the RFL A Grade. Extra funding required from elsewhere for what the community trust are looking to achieve.

Clan provides more detail of course and suggest anyone interested reads it to get an idea of the position.

Or to paraphrase The Clan, and in answer to your post on the VT, an all-seater stadium with all the required facilities is fully funded. Extra grants will make it even better. You can call it partly-funded, if you like. I live in a 4-bedroomed house. Or, as you might call it, a partly-funded 6 bedroomed house.

It's amusing that bigalf seems to think that news of the extent of YC's funding for the stadium is a shock revelation that will send us all into a tailspin of despair; in actual fact, the detail that's been provided makes perfect sense and unlike Tricky Dicky and his £85 billion WR deal, I appreciate being made aware of the facts as they are, rather than as I might like them to be.

I think what he is trying to say is not all the funding is there to complete the whole package but yes the stadium is covered to a minimum package
