i dont think you can count the cas sides has wakefield and district mutts. we are cas and district

lock lane maintained their 100% league record by scraping home 14-18 at east leeds,again this shows how close this group 1 is, by my reckoning they have now won 3 of their 4 games by less than 4 points.

maybe they will come unstuck in one of these tight games soon hopefully starting next week.

can understand why LL are managing to take the close games- they are a tough nut to crack!

well my lads birthday wish came true today in style as Stanley Rangers U 14s go through to the next round of the barla cup with a fantastic performance beating Oulton Raiders U14s 22 - 0 at their place

with an unlucky bounce for their full back it fell beautifully so we could take the lead in the first half 6-0 playing up hill. it was a gritty first half that set up for an even more exciting second half where the lads shipped the ball about from side to side and from another mistake and kick through saw us get the second try.

The last two tries came from well worked plays, all dues to Oulton that never gave in and managed to get over the line but was held up.

cas panthers u12s are safely into the hat for the qf draw after overcoming hull dockers 34-22,to say we didnt play well is an understatement but a win is a win but we will need to be better in the next round.

Week off for stanley U14s they was due to play Normy but it has been cancelled

cas high yr 7 met outwood with cas high winning 16-4 with another unconvincing win,tbf outwood played some good stuff but couldnt break the cas line while cas took their chances.some goal kicking practice required from both kickers this week with both kickers from cas panthers way off the mark.
