No , no problems ... just people being people , whatever you do your always wrong in some peoples eyes .

The lads beat Celtic 18-0 at their place this morning . Pitch was a right mudbath , but both teams tried throwing the ball about ( bit too much tbh with the conditions ) . Lot of laying on and use of elbows when they went behind , but we kept our heads and deservedly won scoring 4 tries to their none .
First fixture should be out next weekend apparently .

cas panthers u11s came out 18-12 winners in a tough game played on a heavy pitch,bit of a poor first half from us but we got better has the game went on.still plenty to work on and lots of positives given a few players were away on holiday,all in all it was a good game played by two commited teams and oulton certainly made us work very hard.

Stanley Rangers U13s game against Dewsbury Moor nearly got called off as the top pitch was water logged after last nights down pour but we managed to use the school pitch down the road.

its always been a close encounter between us but we managed to get the upper hand on this occasion, lack of discipline from Dewsbury cost them all the early effort in keep the scores close in the first half
8 - 0 to us.

the second half we took control of the game finishing victors 22 - 0, outstanding display missing two of of star players one with a broken leg and another serving match bans, all the lads shared the tackling where it would of been left to the lad that was out today.

very proud of my lad that has stepped into his position for the time being and put in a game to remember earning him man of the match.

i doubt they will be out until the weekend,been told little change to the league so i think that will mean lock lane put up with either shaw cross or dewsbury celtic dropping down.

I like the Crigg club, don't know why but i've spent a lot of happy times up on the hill.

yep young mutts is back at his roots ,he as enjoyed his time at stanley and is looking foward to new challenges at his "home" club.
He as learnt a lot from his coaches at stanley and was upset about leaving lee but the lads and coaching team are making him welcome at crigg. Shame that personelle events out of his control have messed him around since he was 6 but now its settle down time.

All the best to rangers they have some great kids backed by wonderful hard working parents and i am sure the paths will cross soon .
sometimes you do the wrong thing but im sure this is the right thing .

wasn't sure whether our game was going to go ahead but we got the call late last night, this was due to lack of opposition players,
its getting to be more frequent now with clubs not being able to field a full side

another big win for Stanley Rangers U13s against Lock Lane, they started off the first 10 mins that they wasn't coming to just roll over but once the tries start coming they soon found it difficult to stop them.

in the end it finished 54 - 6 and it gaves us the ideal warm up to next weeks final which will be held at college grove against Oulton Rangers,

so if anyone wants to come along and support us the more the merrier

Superb away win for Stanley Rangers U12's at Cas Lock Lane this morning; Stanley have been through a fairly turbulent period in recent months, so a really great result for the lads.
