What I’ve never been able to understand with whichever clowns are in charge is the winning of brownie points against each other .What about pulling together and fighting this on a united front , instead of ridiculing each other ,cos the only losers in all this is us the( paying our taxes public ) . They also offered to join forces with a think tank 2 years ago.
Senior leaders from both party offered to join forces.

That was kind of the point of the stats - they show our death rate to be very similar to other European countries.
I don’t disagree that people will use stats for political bias - which again was the point of posting - in response to a figure of how many more deaths U.K. supposedly had more than any other European country.
I doubt very much we will ever know the true total of Covid related deaths.

For the life of me I don’t get why we chose to compile our death rates the way we do. Why call it a Covid death when the actual cause was being hit by a bus, the fact that you had Covid is irrelevant.

The truth is all nations have more or less the same death rates, you see the virus just won’t conform the health and safety rules, they are naughty like that.

The only effective measure against Covid is the vaccine, something we’ve made a half decent job of.

Almost certainly this is down to the efforts of many and imo shouldn’t be enough to save Boris but why pretend this government has been any worse than any other have been, utter nonsense.

A large portion of the Countries electorate is the most ungrateful you'll ever find. Very generous Government grants for busness, furlough lifestyle for millions benefit top ups and not forgetting tolerating vast Public Sector under performance. Most people that benefit from these freebies are most vocal in their attacks. He should of let them rinse at least they'd have a reason to be angry.

Not to mention the PPE providers ,Amazon and mail order companies who have all seen record profits .Wonder if these businesses want to see us all back to normal ,I very much doubt it .Me and the wife run a small service providers business which has lost half its staff and are £100,000 out of pocket in the financial year ,the governments £10,000 grant didn’t scratch the surface of compensating for having to close the doors for over 6months . The rich get richer and the poor get poorer .In fact for the last 4 years to my knowledge my business has paid more tax than apple and Amazon in the uk ,now get your heads round that one when you say we’ve all benefited from this pandemic .
