Without knowing the full process it’s hard to judge. There has to be some sort of evidence sent and perhaps the evidence is then verified. However after the statement from the RFL saying they will come down hard on teams trying to postpone it makes you wonder if you hardly need to submit any evidence for the ones isolating or you just give NHS a list of players numbers and they just stick them in the track and trace even though been nowhere near the people testing positive.

I think we are getting a little carried away with conspiracies. I expect that SL will have structures in place to check the validity of any results. The fact we played last season despite Covid absences was admirable but it was our choice, maybe because it had no threat to our league status.
I wonder if some are more concerned about the fact that they no longer believe we can win and are already getting their justification in place.

You may be right but I can't see where they have gained much of an an advantage? Bit of extra time off, but still missing almost the same number of players and now they don't even have home advantage. An odd state of affairs.

The issue isn't with the fabrication of a positive test (that's pretty difficult to forge) its with the conveniently produced contact tracing that puts 7 other players in the same training group, you only need 1 positive taest, its the isolation o 7 players through contact tracing that triggers the COVID protocols, not difficult at all to produce the required information.

Thats ho i see it only 1 player apparently had it but the track n trace which can be fiddled (if thats the right word)ruled 7 out but we had to stand players down last week it was only 2 i believe.another thing that sticks in my mind is cc press confrence when he mentioned it he said that was for another time as if to say he disnt believe it

Had Salford not been "gifted" a win by Cas last week, this would have been an absolutely HUGE game for them and Trinity would definitely have been on a very short list of "possible" home wins.
2 weeks ago, they would definitely have struggled and now, they go into the game as favourites.
It all stinks but, as you say, we have to get on with it and hopefully use the situation to gain every last bit of motivation.
