I’ve not watched it I’m in at work but it’s sadly what I expected.

I hate it when it comes to this point but CC has probably had his day. Unlike the experts on here I don’t claim to know why, let’s not forget that for three season CC was able to get his team to play, so we know he can do it but not now! Problem is clearly that the team he’s recruited will no longer play for him, as I say I have no idea why.

It’s hard to sack anybody but a man with a young family in a time of crisis it can’t be easy. I’d love to see if the hang him high brigade on here could actually do it eye to eye. I suspect most wouldn’t have the guts, gobbing on here is easy.

Sadly it looks like MC or whoever will have to do it and soon. It just looks over to me, there are no players, not even TJ or Fifita or Arona who can save this ship, it’s hit the rocks.

So I’m afraid I’m going to give CC two more games then that’s it regardless. I know my opinion won’t make any difference but at least I’ve said it and I know where I stand. And a couple of younger replacements like Russell and Hewitt plus their coach unexpectedly left yesterday. They also haven’t won a game since the restart i don’t think so confidence was low.

Mind you shows what changing a coach can do.

Very much so, whether it’s sub-conscious or pre-meditated I’m not sure but they are clearly not responding and haven’t been for a while.

In any walk of life if you don't do your job properly, you'll be out regardless of personal circumstances. He'll have to get a job elsewhere like anyone else. Chester should have gone last year he blamed injuries but we're still useless with a full team out. Carter is a businessman and will do what's right but Chester is owed nothing by the club, if he stays in charge we're down next year & finished.

They have been competitive since the restart.
They've had a couple of big losses and lost to Toronto but, they also lost 3 or 4 games by the odd point or 2.

I know that we were close against Wigan but, generally we are getting worse.
Huddersfield are no world beaters but, they we significantly better than us.

Have we got another win in us this season ?? I dont honestly think we have.

Our only match winners are Johnstone and Fifita, without them our attacking options (or lack of them) are badly exposed.

Battye went ok today but, until we can sort out the halves and get some organisation with ball in hand, we wont be winning anything.

Actually he may as well stay and take the hit then. Any new coach would be off to a shocker.

Thing is the constant narrow defeats can be just as demoralising. And yet despite a boat load of disruption, the exact kind some of the apologists on here have been using as an excuse, they tubbed us good and proper. We need significant change.

I’d also love to see how your employment would hold up under intense scrutiny. How brave you are to exclude personal feelings from the debate but then as I say you can because you’re not looking the recipient in the eye.

I’ve sacked numerous people through the years and I’ve never enjoyed it. Worse still only a few of those were cut and dried. Many I still wonder if I got it right, I don’t lose sleep over it but I do feel some level of guilt.

I love people like you who make it sound so clinical, makes me doubt you’ve ever done the deed yourself. I await your hard as nails response.

Actually I'm a manager at my firm, I have had to dismiss only two people in my time.
I have also been dismissed through my own fault when younger. Obviously it's not enjoyable but it's necessary to safeguard the club's future.

Seems our halves can't create anything when we are attacking I know he's not a world beater but imo Miller is the only one that looks capable of creating anything. On paper we are not a bad side and I do think Chezzy is a half decent coach but the coach can't control silly mistakes, dropped balls and missed tackles once the game has started. We are going to have to turn things around but how I don't know I suppose it's up to the players themselves. I have spoken to many of the team as they frequent my local quite often and I haven't heard anyone bad mouth Chester. Time will tell but time may be running out.

That’s better, no it’s not easy and it can’t be done lightly, he deserves a few more games. I don’t personally feel he can pull it around any more but at least he won’t be able to say he wasn’t given a chance. For his own piece of mind he needs to be able to walk away knowing that he got the chances but in the end he wasn’t able to turn the tide. I know this sounds contradictory but there is nothing worse in life than ‘might have beens’. This way he can be in no doubt that the buck stopped with him, there is closure in that

There is never any pleasure in dismissing anyone, but the management have made it worse for themselves by allowing the rot to set in. Had they made the decision at the end of last season when it was obvious we would continue to go backwards under Chester, then they wouldn't be in the position they are in now and it's likely both the club and Chester would be in a better place than we find ourselves. He's had long enough to prove himself again, and hasn't succeeded. There's no shame in that, but it's time for a change of direction for both him and the club.

The last bit may be the real issue, being liked is no guarantee of success. I don’t think being hated is either, but when players are simply ambivalent towards you then you’re probably in the wrong job

That as ever is utter bunkum. It was not obvious at all, even if cyber warriors like you claim it was with the benefit of hindsight and the desire to exploit the current situation.

CC had every excuse last year, it was a nightmare season that some are simply choosing to forget.

Now though he has far less in the way of mitigation, now it is obvious that his future is on the edge, it most certainly wasn’t last September.

This club is still alive and just about kicking thanks to the loyalty and generosity of all the supporters who sacrificed their season ticket money this year, myself being one. When added all up it will have been a considerable sum. I did not expect anything back, but neither did I expect to be witnessing such dismal performances. If I could ask for one thing it return it would be for the CEO or the Chairman to make some form of public statement to reassure supporters that they are making real positive steps to address this alarming slump in form. If they are willing to stick by Chester, I would like to hear their reasons why.

However all we get is silence. Some of you may know me. I have been watching and supporting this club longer than most . I will continue to follow its progress but without a significant change to the coaching set up thats it, till things drastically alter. No more season ticket from me if we go into next season with this same coaching and conditioning department. I also talk to quite a few other loyal long time supporters and many are also saying they have had enough.

We have been thrown a small scrap of hope with the signing of Willie Poaching but in my mind the problems are so deep, his appointment will not be enough. I just hope the Directors have the guts to do the right thing and I know these things are difficult. However, if this farce continues the club is finished in SL and there will be no way back.

We were on the cusp of relegation. Try and wash it away with whatever excuses you want, but the reality is that we were barely good enough to survive in Super league last season and we've gone backwards since.

For the record, even if we had lost v London, we wouldn't have gone down.

The point last season that conviced me the bloke was not up to it was the second game away at London. After the total embarassment with a full side in the first match
I thought, well these things happen. Newly promoted team making their mark and giving it all, plus complacency from us, these things happen in sport.

However second game and every decent coach would target the game to make sure it never happened again. However the first defeat could be excused, the second was just rank bad prepartation. You see it time after time in his post match interviews. He is quick to find excuses and point out ways we are at fault, but he fails to offer any solutions.
