Quote ="steve1g"The main difference is that Hills & Co have the full backing a a Channel 4 budget & production team, whereas Simmo & Co. haven't. Given equal resources I'm sure Rugby am would be a lot more slick & professional but in becoming so may lose some of it's friendly/matey values and raw edge, which may actually put some guests off of appearing...
...similar argument to us not having the resources to compete with Saints, Wigan, Leeds, Wolves for signings hence we haven't won out for so long...still doesn't mean i don't like watching Waky'"
Not really a similar argument at all. They attract the guests, they have a studio, they have everything they need to make a good show tbh, they do some good segments IMO but ruin it by the likes of Waggas game day and going on to talk about who is a good laugh on a night out and telling stories about mad Monday, It is just not my taste at all.
The Rugby League Podcast is just usually 3 or 4 blokes sitting at a microphone and that is a good show, so I don`t see how a budget could be used as an excuse.
