How do we know his value for money if we don`t know how much he is payed? I remember an interview with MC a few years back talking about how he had seen so much about a certain overseas player been over paid and not worth his salary yet he was nowhere near one of the top earners and certainly not what had been thrown about on here, it was all based on assumptions. At the end of the day only the club and the player themselves know for certain what there pay package and the rest is hear say.

At this point if Randell was out of contract at the end of the season along with Arona and we needed the quota spot I would probably rather keep Arona.

When it comes to Randell I wonder if Chester has ever thought about giving him a run in the halves? He has played quite a lot there throughout his career, from what I have seen he has good direction, good distribution and has a good long kicking game which is something we are lacking massively!

Yes you are correct I don't know his salary. However I do know he is the highest paid player at the club and that is what I base his 'value' on.

so the consensus appears to be that Randell can tackle and isn't bad, maybe not worth a quota spot on current form, started well and has dropped off, doesn't scoot enough, with a couple saying he can kick a bit. As for the comment about playing him in the halves, what can i say....HAVE YOU SEEN HIS PASSING FROM PTB!!!!! and if he doesn't scoot enough he's not gonna run at the line & take em on is he????

I think Randell and Wood are different styles of hookers and both provide a good balance to our game depending on the ebb and flow of the match.

There is just no pleasing some people. As I said previously anyone with any sort of understanding of the game can see the qualities that Randell brings to the team whilst on the pitch.
