| Really looking forward to it... Part of the traditional festive period. Decent forecast should be big crowd.
Some good rugby and a win would be great even if a friendly... but not the end of the world if a loss...

| Yes it was and just as vital, we appear injury free.
Overall the whole team played well and to say we bombed about 3 chances too

| Yes Sacred you got that one right too. Wonder if a certain person will be congratulating you.
I wont say anymore on that one.
I predicted a win but not like that. I said on way 24-16 to us.
A very good all round performance and with a few players still to come back it does look exciting for 2017.

| Happy with that - always good beating Leeds on their own midden!
Some cracking performances from, Hirst, Allgood and Crowther. Kirmond seemed to make plenty of metres as well.
Williams looked decent with the ball, Johnstone scored a great try, as did Sio.
Cant read too much into the game though, don't think we'll come up against a team as bad as Leeds were. They were really poor.

| Very solid performance and plenty of positives today although, it was only Leeds
Dominant pack and excellent defence plus, great performances from Kirmond, Walker, England and Hirst.
Grix was outstanding and Johnstones finishing was superb.
On the other hand Leeds were bang average

| Leeds were dire even in that 1st half when McDermot was obviously wire up to the ref. How many repeat sets between 30 and 40 miinutes? What was the penalty count?
Thought Reece Lynne had a great game till subbed, ditto Kirmond. Tom Johnstone lethal as ever with the half chances. Batchelor slotted in nicely when he came on making one particularly good cover tackle on the Leeds guy who has the women's hairdoo.

| This might not be pr but Lyne was good today.
Wakefield easily dominated the Leeds pack and despite the predictable protests from Whino fans, they only have a couple of forwards to bring in.
Hadn't Wakefield taken their clear cut chances they'd have posted another 5 try's
Big notable performances for me were, Grix, Lyne, Sio, Hirst, Ashurst, Kirmond, Crowther and Batchelor when he switched to the left

| Thought Reese had a great game with ball in hand but he needs to learn when to let it go.
Really like Allgood in defence. England great, Arona gets through an enormous amount of work and looks sharp.
Hirst was busy but you can tell full time environment will improve him drastically.
Liked the way Williams organised the team.
Ashurst and Kirmond were both top class. Really please Kirmond could be back to form.
Grix did a lot of good things and will be an asset but for speed and safety I prefer Max.
Crowther showed some nice passing today which I didn't know he had. Played well.
BJB and Tupou went well. Good yard makers.
Finally Wood and Sio at hooker looked ok. We played well with Wood on but I actually didn't notice him as much. Will watch him closer.
You can only play what's in front of you, but Leeds ere poor.

| Some really good things today and some to work on that will definately improve the team. Good solid foundation to build and really looking forward to next season. Thought all players went really well but just feel Hirst will need all pre season to get to the fitness he will need as he just looked a bit short to me but showed he can play at this level.

Impressed by Hirst who took some stopping as did Arona. Kirmond showed glimpses of his old form. Lynne made yards for fun and Johnstone showed some great finishing. Thought Wood was very sharp from dummy half. The pack looks very promising with Fifita, Huby and Molloy creating additional competition the team should be competitive with any SL pack.

| Good game today and with strength to bring into the squad I'm feeling optimistic about the upcoming season which, I must say, is a wonderful change!
Someone mentioned they were impressed with mason Caton Brown today. I didn't see him on the pitch at all. I believe he and Annakin were announced but it was in fact batchelor and mazive who played. Some one correct me if I'm wrong aha

| I never read too much into friendly results, but I'd much rather win them than lose.
I thought Lyne stood out in the first half and Kirmond looked sharper than he has done for a good while. Allgood was the pick of the forwards for me, worked hard in attack and defence, as did Crowther. Arona made some good yards and our three quarters looked dangerous with the ball. Most pleasing was the work rate in defence which has been lacking for a few years now.
I wasn't as impressed with Grix as others seem to be, and Jowitt would go straight back in when he's fit in my opinion. Keegan Hirst tried hard but has some work to do before he's ready for regular Super League but on today's evidence he looks like he's got the committment to give it a good shot. Wood went okay, but I thought Sio livened it up a bit when he came on.
Throw in Jowitt and Miller and our attack looks even more dangerous, and with Huby and Fifita we've quite a bit of size still to come in. It's a shame about Scott Moore, he could really round this team off.

| Thought we was good today, if we can iron out the errors with ball in hand and be a bit more clinical in finishing our hald chances then i think we could be in for another decent season! Not getting carried away after one friendly but signs defiantly look good with a few players to come into the side in huby, fifta and miller. I see Mcdermots post match comments were distasteful and diluded as ever - today's game was a training run for them, which is probably more or less true but to come out with that when fans have parted with 20 pound to come out and watch there team play well I would be a little bit mythed if I was a rhinos fan to say the least.

I know which coach I'd rather be. The players not in were the ones that put them in the bottom 4

Who played left centre? Toupu? Assumed it was Brown. To be fair I watched both halves from the end we were defending, moved to Wakey end at half time so didn't see the lads front on at all.
Toupu, who I assume it was then, had a belter. Great feet.
