| By my reckoning Scott Moore still has two more matches to sit out which are Huddersfield and Leeds. Winning those two would see us in the eight.
He then returns for the last four matches against Saints, Wigan, Catalans and Cas, all much harder matches to win on paper.
We really miss Moore but we need to find a way to win without him in the next couple of games IMO.

| Shockingly bad in pretty much every aspect; refused to contest high balls, never laid a glove on Campese and let Kelly have all the time in the world to set up their plays. And as usual, we offer Dixon a lifeline when he's in the wilderness - they'll think he's good for a few more games again now.
Christ knows where a performance like that comes from, but it may well have consigned us to the M8's, which is ridiculous given the run we've been on; it was good while it lasted, but as usual, it didn't last long enough.

| Good point about Dixon. The guy is quick but will never be a Super League standard player while ever he's got a hole is a5se. They brought him back from the 3rd tier because Webster knows we're the only club in the comp where he's an asset. He'll now be bundled off back to the outer limits because all other teams know how to exploit his inherent weaknesses.

| ok so we have some players to come back and the sooner the better. I have no idea how a squad can turn out a performance like that. It can still be salvaged but only with very hard work. I see that clubs who are likely to be involved in the middle 8s are adding to their squads already. Going to be interesting.

A Wembley final would trump any amount of league points.
It's been nearly 40 years since we played there last and a fair bit longer since we won.
On the basis that we are unlikely to win SL, the cup is our only prospect of winning something and if
we could beat Shudds in the cup, it would mean just one more win to get to Wembley.
Although, after last night (and the Salford game), the dream looks as distant as it ever did, I would still trade league points
for a chance of cup glory.

| Wembley Final wouldn't trump the league points if it meant being relegated to me.
Securing top 8 is a massive step to me.
Wembley with 8th place and not progressing, that's more than fine. Even a semi is fine.
but Wembley and middle 8 with million pound game isn't worth it to me.

I would generally rate a semi as a lot higher than fine.

| Finish 8th and don't progress. Knocked out of cup by Huddersfield. If offered I would take that scenario now. Hated Middle 8's and despised MPG.

| Yep a top 8 for me. I have only been to Wembley twice and its no place to go and loose. However survival and a Wembley trip would be welcome providing we don't put in a shift like we have over the two games.

I wouldn't say one man team, we have beat Warrington, Catalans and for most the Widnes match without him but it's obvious we're far more effective all around when he plays. Similarly to when Houghton plays for Hull and Roby for Saints, they're better teams.

| Would rather put league over cup every time.
More frequent top 8 finishes may qyiten the doubting pundits and not write us off.
A team finishing higher in the league may interest a higher calibre of potential new players.
Also it may increase the attendances and improve our chances of a new ground or re vamped BV

| With the 2 bottom clubs in our next 2 games, top 8 is definitely in our own hands and whilst these 2 games would usually be quite daunting, with little prospect of victory, we really have to get 2 more wins under our belts.
Leeds have clearly got problems, bottom of the league and Hardaker being listed and although Shudds have been more competitive, they are still getting turned over.
A really big 2 weeks coming up and if we can beat these 2, things will look very good
Come on Trin !

| Can't help thinking that Shudds and Whinos are going to do what teams with long losing spells have done in the past i.e. regain their form against us. I'm very nervous over our performances in the run in to the play offs. Should we miss the top eight, I'd hate to think our fate rests in beating Huddersfield, leeds, Widnes and Leigh.
We badly need to regain the form that we showed against Wigan, Warrington etc.
As for the Wembley final, I'd settle for the top eight any day (the Challenge Cup can come next season).

| Interestingly, Salford also play Leeds and Huddersfield in the next fortnight. Provided we match their results from the next fortnight, whatever they may be, we might be all right (subject to the appeal being unsuccessful). Widnes have a little bit of a tougher fortnight coming up, so things might be a little easier in two weeks.

| Bloody hell it only takes a couple of loses for some fans to turn into complete doom & gloom merchants. It's the same side they were singing the praises of what 2 weeks ago. Fact is against Salford we played them at times with 11 and 12 men, playing 13 v 13 is hard enough without giving ourselves that kind of hurdle. Against Hull KR we had some of our better players missing and we played absolute crap & Hull KR did well. They did the same to Cas as well. This season we've seen all teams go through poor phases, some worse than others.
Get the likes of Kirmond, England, BJB, Jowitt & Moore back and maybe Fifita & the team looks vastly different to the one that played against Hull KR.
Got to say I've been counting down the games till Moore returns. Him in the side against Leeds is a big plus.
Personally if we can get back to playing something like we have been & I don't see any reason why we can't, we definitely have a good chance against Hudds & Leeds. IF we do start to find our form and not only that, man up and work for each other like we had been doing, I'd like to think we'd give Saints & Cas a good fight at our place as well. Ateotd it's all up to us and you'd think those that were here last year, will want no part of that potential MPG.

It's nailed on Leeds will be at full strength by the time they play us. Huddersfield will also be targeting us a two pointer and a progression to the semis.

| It's not ifWe must get back to playing like we used to. We are capable if we return to our firm to beat and give most sides but I'm sure widnes thought the same be for going on a 7 match loosing run. 5 he whole S London been the strangest I can remember , with usually solid performances from the usual suspects lacking. It's been an opportunity for most of the lesser fancied sides to gain points and to take advantage of Leeds and Huddersfield in particular.
