Apart from Anakin, he is, when fit, miles better than any other forward we have on the books. Obviously Ali is a match winner but Grix is a player who gets in the Warrington team, no other player on our books , now that McShane has left could do that. Excellent signing if fit to play.

Before his injury he would have been one of the first names on the team sheet, we have certainly missed him this season. Can and has played 2nd row, loose, centre and even in the halves in recent years. From the limited number of times I've seen Wakey this season I'd say that, when fit, he is better than anyone else you have (he is possibley better than most we have!).

Probably not....according to BS on back page of today's Wakey Express, there is "almost no chance of Grix playing for Wakefield this season".
If that is the case, then why have we signed an injured player that is unlikely to play for us ???

Why would BS divulge the 100% truth to our competitors? Maybe he will maybe he won't either way it's hardly gonna make us worse off than before he signed.

If we were speaking hypertheftically then you would think that one club wanted to bring in a new scrum half to try to improve their chances. The problem they had was that they had reached their cap and were not sure if the club currently employing the said half back would release him. They thought we need a club who have space under the cap and will help us out. They knew we were running a squad on the cheap so had plenty of room. Let's send a player who we know will not play again on loan until the end of the season but will not announce it until we are certain that the player from Australia is free.
I suppose having a family member at the said club is just a bonus but as I said this is purely hyperthefticall.
