Not sure what you were seeing then as it was in front of me and the ball never touched the floor. The ball was stolen in the in goal area which you are allowed to do so drop out was the correct decision.

We'll I was stood at the front railings at the north stand directly in front of it, so for me he definitely got that ball down and if sky were there I think it would of been a try.
Not sure regarding the rules surrounding a 2 on one ball steal in the in goal, probably a drop out ? But i think that needs changing to a penalty on the ten.

I was right in the corner it was scored, the Huddersfield defenders hand was under the ball when Riley tried to get the ball down. It was close but it never quite made the grass sadly.

| The Sammut issue is all about where we would play him.
The guy needs to be in the halves or at full back and it's pretty clear that Webster prefers Miller at 6 and no way is Sammut better at FB than Hall.
Unless we pick up injuries in the positions that the guy can cover, he isn't going to get much game time.
I like the guy and he was a good signing at the time but, I just don't see where he fits in at the moment.

Personally i'd have Sammut at stand off ahead of Miller but thats just personal choice and Webster sees it differently. But I think Sammut could do a job at interchange hooker whilst Godinet is out which would free Washbrook up to play in his best position of backrow. It would also mean McShane wouldn't end up playing an hour straight which negates some of his effectiveness.

| The question has to be asked, what has Miller brought to the team that Sammut hasn't ????
Miller is a REASONABLE support player, but so far has created virtually nothing in attack, so we are almost totally reliant on Smith to create our scoring opportunities. I have nothing against Miller, but he is simply not performing and it is time to introduce the x-factor that Sammut clearly possesses.

| If you're not going to play one of your most creative players in Sammut (and a top earner in the squad) when WTW are losing every week then sell him and buy a hooker! (Rugby player., : ). If he is truly a 'headless chicken' or 'loose cannon' then get rid and get someone who is allowed to contribute. Every one of the 28 players should have a part to play this season and that also includes Johnstone, Jowitt, Trout and Molloy.
It's a waste of money on Sammut in what is an already tight budget
He should at least be on the bench in the coming weeks now IMHO.
We appear to be missing composure in attack and putting everything onto Tim Smith and Craig Hall.
Split the attack with Tim Smith one side of the ruck and Jarrod Sammut (instead of Miller) on the other side with Craig Hall remaining at full back as he is one of our better players.
It'll create more attacking (plus attacking kick) options and generate more problems for the opposition. Whatever you say about Sammut he knows where the try line is and will take the line on unlike Tim Smith.

| Don't think anyone has stated they know more than the coach who most of us rate highly, just expressing opinions which often then get ridiculed on this forum if it involves any criticism of who plays and who doesn't.
Sammut must be on one of the highest paid contracts at the club but has not yet played a SL game this season despite the team's form deteriorating and that he is fit to play.
Think he should be sold if at all possible if the situation continues especially when the club is struggling financially and is having to get other players in on loan.

I understand and share your frustrations, and I think JS should be given his chance, but how do you suggest we "Get rid"?
Most SL teams will be up to the cap, full time championship clubs will be up to there cap and I doubt any part time club would take him on loan and pay anywhere near his full wages.
I think the best we can hope for is to say send him out on loan with maybe 30% of his wages paid? Yes then we are wasting a little less money but we don't have any cover for injury crisis, also no player to contribute to the club in other areas, training etc.

| Looks like the injury crisis continues with Tim Smith and Danny Kirmond both out injured so Sammut will obviously now get his chance and come in at 7 for Smith against Wigan.

Don't think Jowitt's in the 19 Avenger. I think he'll put him in this week and I hope he rips Wigan to shreds.

| The move from Bradford has been a bit of a disaster for Jarrod. His time at the Bulls was reasonably successful and he was well thought of by most supporters at our club. How did he get on last night?

That's very convenient. Smith and Miller named in the 19 and now Sammut is apparently injured.
