I think most fans admit a points deduction is appropriate. I don't disagree with that. Its the disproportionate rants from SOME (not all Wakey fans).

They say we should be thrown out the league completely because you were told you would be put into admin (I think this is where a lot of toxis comments are coming from) now we have been told the RFL told you that you would be kicked out.
Your chairman told you this at a fans forum. Nothing else has been mentioned in the media or press Releases. Now if the RFL DID says this, why has everything gone quiet on this front, surely he should be screaming from
The roof tops of an injustice? I am not for one minute saying he is BS, he seems an very honest, excellent businessman who will drive your club forward. Maybe he got the wrong end of the stick like our new chairman did with te points deduction. I'm just surprised he's quiet on this issue now.

Also a valid point was made on the VT by a neutral fan. If the RFL did tell Wakefield they would be relegated perhaps it was because they were going to forfeit on HMRC which the RFL do have specific rules on. I believe the HMRC are owed around 60k by the Bulls which will have to be paid off.

Anyway I think this argument will go in til the cows come home. You'll get the sensible posters off both sides, and the extreme of both sides like "Bradford should be relegated" and one or two others who act innocent. But most I've read accept we Deseve a points deduction. Which is all that is in the rules. The rest of the argument comes from what has been said at a fans forum.

Perhaps he prefers to voice his concerns through proper channels rather than an internet forum ?

Personally,I don't want another club dead but there were plenty who were looking forward to dancing on our grave over the last few years and they weren't all from Cas.

Not saying on here, that's ridiculous. But an official statement through the club website or an open letter like you have on another topic.

I just think on a situation like this it won't have been discussed over the phone. Otherwise it's a case of MC's word against the RFL's word. Surely they will have been some record of these discussions?

I haven't seen any disproportionate rants; it's fast becoming received wisdom over on the VT, thanks to Adeybull and his ilk, that there is a mob of Wakey fans baying for the Bulls to be booted out of SL altogether. Having been camped here for a few days and involved in the discussion - have *you* seen any?

As one of the Wakey fans that have commented numerous times on the thread on the VT and on here I don't recall seeing anyone suggesting that they should be booted out.

There have been numerous comments stating that that is what Wakey were told would happen to them. That is different in my opinion, but as you say Adey and Smokey appear to be taking things a bit too personal and making those comments out to be worse than they are to justify their own arguments.

FWIW my opinion is that Bradford should be docked 6 points immediately with the option to have that reduced based on the percentage of debts they honour. That appears to be the precedent set so that is what should happen.

I think you'll find those £20 will add up. Mind you it probably doesn't matter to you as big Nige will see you right.

If justice is seen to be done more poeple may be inclined to travel to your iconic hole in the ground. If not then your club is going to be hit in the pocket by many away fans not attending. It's the only way fans have of dishing out their own punishement should our esteemed governing body show itself to be running a sham of a game.

Not by a long short, the perception that your a club that are too big to fail (in the eyes of the RFL) is enough for me to not pay a penny into your club. A massive conflict of interest exists on an epic scale. At least I won't beat myself up knowing I've financially contributed to the farce. I along with tens of thousands of other fans ( a large % of them been ex fans) value the concept of fair play, the likes of yourselves that make excuses for cheating refuse to understand. if I didn't have a uncontrollable emotional attachment to Wakefield Trinity I would walk away from the game for good. I have a feeling I'm not in minority of Rugby League fans with that view.

I'll be supporting Wakefield when they go to Bradford.

I'll be at Wakefield in a fortnight! I am a little bored with wondering if we would have a team to support this year. Can you let me know are away fans in the same stand as last season it wasn't the best for viewing or can we get tickets to stand with you behind the posts like in previous seasons.
Also I honestly believe that Bradford haven't been treated overly well. Losing sky money is massive to any RL club, it has added hugely to the two year struggle and loss of many high quality young players. If we gain an advantage I would expect points docking. I like the idea of your poster who suggested 6 points till creditors paid. I'd give it a time limit till May, I wouldn't,t want to be a club four points above us in September if we got 6 points back.
